Facilities are immaterial if primary function is not met The toilet/room had a urine smell, the blinders don’t close completely meaning the room wasn't dark enough for deep sleep, my first night there was noise in the corridors at 3am (there was loud noise often - like a student dorm), the inter-leading door made me feel uncomfortable, my car slept in the street after they indicated parking was provided, the deposit shouldn’t be listed in the fine print but the first line when looking at booking options as it’s critical for making an informed decision. The finishes in the bathroom is where the luxury ends, entry room or deluxe - no one should be feeling like they are short of hearing the next door neighbour washing dishes, while the shower drain makes gurgling sounds in the mornings, assuming when someone else is showering and ofcourse not to the urine smell and being told cleaning teams aren't available till Monday when I was checking out. After my poor decision to stay past my first nights discomfort and see the reviews i hadn't taken the time to read, I'm certain ill be met with the same responses I saw on other bad reviews - ITS YOUR FAULT, YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE RULES, ITS IN THE FINE PRINT!! all while divulging private information between them and their guests for whatever individual complaint they had instead of accepting they can do better and do better. It’s convenient but not worth the money.

Clean rooms, friendly staff

Holding deposit, which only gets disclosed at check-in. Restrictions on the change of towels. Noise from fellow guests at 3 am.

Racism

One block from the beach, great view from our room and very clean. It was close to numerous restaurants of all varieties. I was pleasantly surprised we had maid service which was nice. The views from the pool area were exceptional. The ice machine was fabulous and always full. We were also surprised to see the numerous washing machines and dryers. We made good use of them. There was an excellent walking path across the street that runs along the beach for miles which enjoyed.

No one stops at stop sign in front of the apartments so be careful crossing. Several homeless persons nearby asking for handouts but the were not a problem.

The location is good, close to the beach and restaurants

Some maintenance man walked into our room unannounced while I had just taken a shower, no knock or anything. When I laid a complaint the hosts were gossiping about me brushing off what happened. They then offered me breakfast and asked me not to give them a bad review. They also took more than half of my security deposit because I got makeup on the towels and sheets. It was a horrible experience!

Staff friendliness

I wanted to pay cash for my deposit, and was convinced that if I use mobipaid link my payment would be processed within 2 to 3 working days. It is now day 5 and I still haven't recieved my deposit. This is an inconvenience because it is not the first time I experience this at this property, and would be the ONLY reason I opt for another accommodation in the future and not this one. Please try and sort that out, it is not right that in order for me to stay there I must pay immediately, but the same courtesy and urgency isn't returned once I leave.
