MacLeod House Guest Cottage

The greenery set against the backdrop of the Krantzkloof reserve, stone walls and fireplace caught our attention immediately when we arrived for our weekend getaway. This is a hidden gem that we will definitely be coming back to soon. We specifically loved the outdoor shower with exceptional views, mosaic ceiling in the bathroom, super comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and relaxing around the fire pit with a braai and full moon. Lyn and Aidan were exceptional hosts that made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend of relaxation. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone!

Everything was great.

The hosts are always so sweet. Since it was my birthday, they left me a card! Which in my book was very thoughtful. The views, are always shocking whenever we see them. The privacy this property allows as well as the serenity. Their dogs are so sweet, and since we've been there before, they were so excited to see us again! To be honest, if anyone doubts how spectacular this place is, don't. It is worth every penny. The pictures of the actual property and area surrounding it, doesn't do it justice. It really is something you need to experience for yourself. Also, we will definitely be going back again.

That I was a little under the weather. However, even then it was still a great experience. That we did not book for longer. (It's always so hard, to go home, after you've experienced the MACLOED enerrgy)

We loved the location and setting of this property with its magnificent gardens and majestic view. The cottage is private and tranquil yet close to everything Kloof has to offer. Its a must to stay here!

The most beautiful BnB I have ever stayed in! The attention to detail and quality of decor and finishes is superb. You can feel the love that has gone in to creating this magnificent space. The fireplace in the bathroom and outdoor shower were particular highlights for me, as was the very impressive bed and comfortable bed. I don't want to stay anywhere else ever again when I need to be in Kloof for business.

When we arrived, I was shell shocked by how the pictures did not do the place justice. The views are breathtaking, the owners are absolutely delightful, and the dogs are such friendly and playful animals. Me and my partner, really had a fantastic time. We have already booked another stay, so that should confirm how amazing this place was. The hard work, passion and dedication, Aidan & Lyn put in to ensure this place is as beautiful and nature inclusive as it is, is honestly very astounding. The decor, styling and all the small things added, gives the place that personal feel, which we really appreciated. THANK YOU FOR CREATING A CORE MEMORY FOR ME AND THABISO. Also the outside shower, bath tub and heated blankets really are a life saver! THANK YOU SO MUCH MACLOED. 🥰💚
