Becketts Bliss

I phoned the owner on 4 December to make this booking. The owner reffered me to do booking through Booking.com. My request was for a safe, child-friendly ground floor unit as I was looking after our grandchild during the 2 days. I explained to the owner, Diane that I will be alone during the day for 2 days without transport with our grandchild due to our daughter having appointments. I informed the owner telephonically a few days in advance it will only be the 2 adults and we are willing to take a smaller room/unit without compensation only to be close to the pool, groundfloor and garden. She said she will get back to me once she gets back home but never received a call back... With arrival, the unit was upstairs and in building next door to Becketts Bliss. The unit was not as advertised and not clean. The single bed/s seemed to be slept on and the staircase/walls going up to the room was filthy. The gate could only be locked from the inside and it felt hostile, unsafe and dirty. We immediately handed back the keys in drop-box and informed the owner it was not suitable and left with little one to look for new accomodation in the heat of Worcester on a Sunday afternoon.... I have phoned the owner several times to remedy this situation, send a w-app and still no response....

Access the to pool and garden was wonderful, it was nice to have somewhere comfortable to spend time. The bed was large and comfortable.

I felt like the images were incredibly misleading, we were lucky that our friends were staying in the flat that joined to ours because our kitchen facilities and general space was really impossible to stay in comfortably ~ on the road so we were unable to open any doors or windows, the lighting in the entire space was bright white florescent bulbs, the pictures of the space are completely different to what we stayed in. The images were also misleading to what we actually had access to.

Location

Room very old and outdated. Bathroom was very pokey.

My family reported that it was a lovely stay and clean and conveniently situated close to the Casino!

The only thing they said was that it was extremely hot in Worcester and as we enter a hot summer season they would prefer to check into accommodation where there will be air-conditioning... the room only had a fan which was beating around the hot air. However they said everything else was really nice.
