Achalochan House

Un bel accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée. L'hôte (Simon) a pris un bon moment avec nous pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement du logement et nous suggérer des activités ainsi que nous fournir quelques recommandations pratiques sur l'île de Skye. Chaque matin, Simon a pris de nos nouvelles et nous a même donné un bon dessert qu'il venait de préparer. L'emplacement est incroyable, le logement est parfait et les hôtes sont gentils et généreux. Nous étions un groupe de 6 et nous recommandons tous ce logement pour votre séjour!

El desayuno está muy bien y la ubicación permite un óptimo movimiento por la Isla, sin la presión de otros lugares más saturados. Los anfitriones, Simon y Sara, con un trato muy familiar, te dan unas excelentes indicaciones que optimizan tu estancia y los recorridos por la isla.

We stayed at Achalochan House for three nights as a family of four and were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our visit. The house is incredibly cozy and beautifully decorated with great style and attention to detail. It radiates warmth and character, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. What made our stay especially memorable were our wonderful hosts, Simon and Sarah. They are incredibly kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a dram of whisky and a piece of Sarah’s homemade shortbread - a thoughtful touch that made us feel immediately cared for and truly welcome. We were lucky to stay in the family suite, which was spotlessly clean and absolutely stunning: spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. It truly felt like a home away from home. Simon and Sarah also shared fantastic local tips and insider knowledge that helped us discover the beauty of the Isle of Skye in a way we never could have on our own. Their recommendations led us to some unforgettable experiences. A special highlight was the breakfast: Sarah’s cooking is simply outstanding. Every single dish was delicious and made with such care. It was a real pleasure to start each day with such a lovingly prepared meal. And we absolutely loved Simon’s homemade chili sauce! We truly had an unforgettable stay and can’t recommend Achalochan House enough. Thank you, Simon and Sarah, for your incredible hospitality. We hope to return one day!

Wonderful location, top class appartment, very friendly and helpful hosts, we really enjoyed our stay here!

Sara und Simon haben uns willkommen geheißen wie Familienangehörige mit selbstgemachtem Shortbread und Whisky. Die Zimmer waren süß eingerichtet mit allem, was man sich nur wünschen kann.Das Frühstück war großartig, sehr liebevoll zubereitet und besonders lecker mit tollen Zutaten aus der Region. Oft saßen sie danach mit uns am Tisch. Sie haben erzählt, haben uns Tipps gegeben und mit uns unsere Ausflüge geplant. Sie waren so herzlich, fröhlich und natürlich und haben sich immer Zeit genommen. Wir wären gerne noch viel länger da geblieben und waren sehr traurig, als wir wieder abreisen mussten. Es war so schön, sie kennen zu lernen. Sie sind ein ganz besonderes Paar!!!

Uns hat alles gefallen!

De eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt en de keuzemogelijkheden zijn perfect. (Ook het vegetarische eten is heel verzorgd en vooral lekker!) De kamers zijn stijlvol en zeer netjes.

Geen mogelijkheid om picknick (om mee te nemen op je uitstap) koel te houden maar Simon heeft ons geholpen met een koelbox.
