Achalochan House

What a wonderful place to stay. Simon and Sara are wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. Sara cooks breakfast every morning, and it is the best breakfast in all of Scotland. The house is situated in a beautiful area, offering a lovely view of the ocean, hills, and adorable sheep. I loved being out of the busy city of Portree. Our room was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Simon and Sara go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. We look forward to revisiting the Isle of Skye and staying at Achalochan House.

¡TODO! La casa es espectacular, tiene todo lo que se puede necesitar para vivir en ella. Cada detalle se nota que se ha hecho con delicadeza para que te sientas como en casa. Espaciosa, limpia, camas muy cómodas. El lugar es precioso y los anfitriones son una pareja encantadora! Simon, Sara, ha sido increíble conoceros. ¡Vovemos sin duda!

Wat een ontzettend leuke mensen zijn Simon en Sara. Ze hebben het ons erg naar ons zin gemaakt en ons geholpen met het uitstippelen van een route en tips voor uitstapjes. Wij zijn hier twee nachten geweest met onze kinderen van 5 en 7. De kinderen vonden het ontbijt fantastisch, ze hebben het er nog steeds over! We hebben de locatie gebruikt om te overnachten en zijn overdag vooral op pad geweest om de omgeving te zien.

Eigenlijk niks. Enige verbeterpunt; we ontvingen voordat we aankwamen wel erg veel mails over hoe alles in zijn werk ging. Dit kan wat minder.

Sarah e Simon ti accolgono come foste di famiglia! Ti aiutano e ti consigliano sulle varie esperienze che ti offre l'isola! La casa è molto bella, colazione super! Ve lo consiglio!

Our hosts, Simon and Sara are amazing. We had a fabulous 2 days on Skye. Their local knowledge is priceless and we appreciated the emails they sent leading up to our trip, reminding us what we needed to do, I.e. booking restaurants and ferry crossings! By the end of the 2 days we had become friends and we are looking forward to a future visit. Thank you both for an excellent stay!

Impresionante apartamento en la planta alta que ocupamos con 3 habitaciones completas con su baño en suite. La decoración, las vistas y su confortabilidad son extraordinarias. La hospitalidad de Simon y de Sara fueron excepcionales.

El precio nos pareció un poco elevado, pero el apartamento también superó nuestras expectativas.

The apartment had everything we needed and more. We were unfortunate enough to encounter storm Floris during our stay. The hosts, Simon and Sara, offered us the use of their kitchen stove as the electrical supply to the island was cut for hours. Sara even baked some yummy scones for our tea. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The views from the apartment were amazing. A short walk to the beach but we weren’t lucky enough to spot any seals. Ose is about 10 mins’ drive from Dunvegan where we had a very enjoyable meal at The Old House.

Accueil exceptionnel Sara et Simon sont adorables , pleins de petites attentions et donnent de précieux conseils Nous avons adoré échanger avec eux,le breakfast était délicieux, l'endroit paisible et ressourçant Tout était parfait Notre coup de coeur en Ecosse Nous reviendrons sans hésiter
