Cosmoia Cave House

This place is awesome! It's right in the center of Oia, and the facilities are amazing. You'll feel like you're in paradise.

The property location is perfect! The views from the outside terrace are stunning! This place is huge and spacious! As soon as you open the front door, there’s a blue dome church right in front, so beautiful! Elizabeth, the hostess, picked us up from the port. She gave us many recommendations prior our arrival to make our stay easy! Very helpful, very sweet and gave us her own personal number in case we needed anything. She had a porter take our luggage to the room bc there’s so many stairs in all of Santorini. Location was excellent, a 3 min walk to the panoramic views from Oia castle and also to Ammoudi Bay.

Absolutely nothing!

The location is absolutely gorgeous with a view of Ammoudi Bay and the cliffside from the front balcony. The house was very clean and comfortable and each morning breakfast was delivered to the front door. The host was AMAZING- she made suggestions on things to do and restaurants and assisted with making reservations. As it is difficult (impossible?) to rent a car and stay in Oia, our host arranged for all transportation to sites that were outside of Oia. The entire stay was very luxurious and our host helped with any questions/needs we had.

Oia is very crowded- especially when the cruise ships come in. This is NOT the fault of the host or the property but does impact the overall stay. While we loved our time here, it's expensive and that combined with the crowds means we would probably choose another island or location for future trips. However, it is truly an experience and I'm glad we chose to stay here.

The communication and assistance from the hostess. She was always quick to rely and offer assistance.

Unfortunately there was a mixup/misunderstanding of one of our highly anticipated tours that was very disappointing. We were told and expected a catamaran boat and were given a monohull sailboat which we would have never booked. There wasn’t adequate space for our group and it was disappointing and were offered nothing other then an apology. The captain and crew were wonderful and we realized it wasn’t their fault and definitely compensated them accordingly. Hot tub was not hot and barely even warm.

There was no reception room to leave your luggage for a late flight departure..and no where to put your toiletries.. They should put a stand with shelves for toiletries

Excelent view , cleaning and attention , Elizabeth take care of everything in our vacation she was exceptional, definitely highly recommend!
