Casa Ninetta - Bari Centro

Apartament is huge, super comfortable and clean. We stayed in one of the coldest weeks of the year and the house was warm and cozy with minimal heating. Also location is perfect, right near the train/bus stations.

Staff left us only 2 rolls of toilet paper for five nights and refused to provide more when asked... Also if we wanted to wash our clothes there was no detergent.

- spacious and sunny - warm (important in winter) - 10 minutes walk to the sea - flexible and helpful host

- horrible smell from the bathroom at the beginning of our stay (later it got a bit better) - kitchen equipment limited to bare minimum - not working dishwasher - some of the kitchen utensils were dirty - proximity of the busy railway tracks - in general apartment was dusty and it looked it was not used for quite some time before our arrival - not working Internet at the beginning of our stay (later it was fixed by our host)

Apartment was spotless clean, nicely decorated. Airco made our stay very enjoyable and the elevator helped as well. The building was calm despite.it is located on a train way so do expect noise from outside.

Very uncomfortable bedding, the mattress needs to be changed. Kitchen lacks appliances and equipments (microwave, toaster, dishwasher was out of order...). During a summer rainstorm the windows leaked water and we got flooded. We were missing a set of towels and it took several calls/days to get it delivered. The Italian style shower door seal was leaking as well. The building facade was being painted with scaffoldings covering it and the apartment balcony was occupied by the painters for several days. The agency was not even aware about the work on the building and admits that unless the owner declares such it would not be known to them. The work was authorized since Dec. 2021 and couldn't been unknown when listing this apartment at a very high price and even increasing it in May 2022.
