Fantastic, Spacious 2 Bedroom Apartment in Converted Chapel

We were very happy with all this property had to offer. Exactly what we needed.

It was clean and nicely decorated with a designated parking space and a good location, being a 15 ish minute walk into town.

We struggled to get into Flat 1, the instructions could have been much clearer (need to use a fob to open an external door to get into the building). Called the number and was sent a link which helped to get into the building. The door handle jammed on one of the bedrooms so we couldn't get to my Mum's stuff, called the help number and were requested to send an email of the door handle, waited an hour and called again and sent the photo again. I think it was a call centre in India, I spoke to a very rude woman who explained that she couldn't help me until she knew what sort of handle was on the door! All very frustrating, finally got a call back and a chap arrived and fixed the faulty handle, but stress I could well have done without!

Grei beliggenhet. Store og fine soverom, 3 bad og kombinert stue og kjøkken. Romslig for en familie på 5. Litt få kjøkkenglass, ellers greit utstyrt kjøkken.

Renhold. Viftene på badet og radiatorene så helt jævlig ut, kunne med fordel vært renholdt. Ekkel lukt på bad tilknyttet hovedsoverom, mest sannsynlig tørt avløp. Det var ikke lagt frem sengetøy til ekstraoppredning, fant det i en pose på bod. Litt dårlig informasjon om parkering i bakgård. Burde vært laget en velkomstmappe med all informasjon om parkering og ekstra sengetøy.

Couldn’t get the coffee machine to work.

The apartment was a good size, nicely laid out, not too far from the centre of Bath, though not walking distance. Ideal for two couples.

Maintenance of the property was not good. A coffee machine & coffee pods were promised but not there. The agents were aware of this but had not advised us before arrival, or made any attempt to replace it. The drain from sink in one shower room was completely blocked. Door handle in bedroom fell off & had been faulty for some time as the screws were on the bedside table. There were TVs in both bedrooms, but neither of them worked. There were no instructions for operating the central heating which was required on the chilly weekend we were there. The earliest arrival time of 4pm & departure time of 10am were arranged for the convenience of the cleaners, not the guests & we would normally expect 3pm & 11am. Given the poor maintenance of the property, this was not justifiable. Given the premium price of the property, and the number of issues advised to the agent, we would have expected some offer of a reduction in the price, but nothing was forthcoming.

Wir hatten bei der Buchung zwei Kinder dabei, welche auf der Couch im Wohnbereich schlafen sollten. Dazu gab es keine Bettdecken und auch nach Nachfrage, zweimaliger, wurden für diese drei Nächte keine Bettdecken geliefert. Wir mussten im Supermarkt Decken kaufen, damit die Kinder sich zudecken konnten. Der Kühlschrank war komplett vereist Das Apartment befand sich im Erdgeschoss, das zweite Schlafzimmer ging zur Rückseite in einen Hof, wo nebenan unmittelbar die Abfallbehälter in einem Raum standen, welcher nicht geschlossen wurde .

Good location, well equipped, clean and comfortable, would return.

Explanation about parking outside, was told it was permitted parking - this should be made more explicit as in "permit holders parking" as such, we ended up with a parking fine. There was no information given about a fob for the rear parking spaces prior to arrival and only found this in the information folder when leaving.
