La falta de limpieza era evidente,las toallas y sábanas sucias, y lo peor la persona de contacto tuvimos que insistir en que era verdad.Cuando vino una chica le costó encontrar sábanas ,paños de cocina y toallas que estuvieran limpias,en el lugar donde las guardaban. Un montón de bichos volantes por el apartamento y el olor a moho era muy evidente

dés l’entrée dans le logement, une odeur très désagréable de moisissures et d’humidité très importe car il n’y a pas de ventilation possible bruit de la chasse d’eau impossible à fermer et surtout le ruissellement de la pluie sur le toit en verre. nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à trouver le sommeil heureusement que c’était la fin de notre séjour !

Süße Wohnung in historischem Flair. Liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. Küche und Bad erfüllten ihren Zweck. Lage war sehr ruhig in einem Wohngebiet, fußläufig gibt es das Elizabeth Fort und ein tolles Café. Das große Sofa war sehr bequem.

Leider wurden wir schon von einem unangenehm feuchten Kellergeruch empfangen, der auch mit den Luftfiltern und regelmäßigem Lüften nicht weg ging. In mehreren Räumen war schwarzer Schimmel an den Wänden. Wir sind geblieben, weil es nur 2 Nächte waren, länger hätten wir es aus gesundheitlichen Bedenken nicht gemacht.

Great location, well equipped

Only real complaint was the dank, musky odor that lingered badly in the entry way. There was evidence of wet rot in the entrance way wood work and black stains on the stone work which looked like mold. My allergies didn’t kick in but I put that down to keeping windows and door open and air purifiers on full blast. Other than this it was great. Needs some remediation.

The flat is very quaint with lovely original features. It was a 15 min walk into the centre. The beds were comfortable and there was a great sofa for lounging around on. There is a beautiful cathedral right over the road. It was so quiet at night and we slept really well. The host sent through all the check in information and instructions and it was all straightforward. Parking on the road was easy to find.

It was superficially clean but could do with a deep clean as under and behind things was grubby. It was poorly stocked with the basic things you need. We had an inch of watery washing up liquid, no dishwasher or washing machine tablets, hand soap in the bathroom nearly empty. In the instructions for the flat, the host says to message her if things are missing and she will arrange delivery. However, we would have to wait in for things to be delivered, which was inconvenient. For the price of the accommodation, nothing should be missing, and restocking between guests should be done as standard. The lamps don't work because the bulbs are too weak and flicker. None of the little tea lights worked. It's those little things that make a difference, and it would have been a better experience had everything worked well and we'd had all the things we needed. We read the other reviews on here while we were staying, and fortunately, our experience was good compared to some others. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would recommend reading all the reviews before booking.

The property is unique, beautiful and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The property minutes from groceries and restaurants and pubs. Also close to downtown.
