Bathroom requires a thermostatic shower valve, also the shower head twist under water pressure causing it to spray against the screen side of bath,loose toilet seat. Some detector not attached to detector base ( exposed electric terminals). No usb charging point.suggest to replace a couple of main wall sockets with USB / sockets.

Good location, great view, good facilities overall for short stay. We got free parking up the road.

Bed too soft so sleep was very poor for us, and the frame around the bottom of the bed made it cumbersome to get around it. Plus my husband is tall and feet caught it. Needs a divan bed in such a small room. The bathroom needs updating. Rang Tina twice, no answer. Sky did not work. Tina's son came the next day unannounced and could not fix it either.

Cleanliness and comfort

North Road closure made it difficult to get to. Drive around Looe several times before finding it. Only 1/2 a toilet roll provided

The view was great and the apartment was comfortable. The area was good for restaurants etc. The bedroom was quiet enough and we slept really well..

The parking is an issue however and I did search for properties 'with parking' and this was in the list. You will have to walk a bit to the car park recommended by the host and pay extra for this. Not as private as one would have hoped as you share the outdoor space with another apartment and it is not screened off from neighbours although the photo looks like it could be. Nevertheless, the view onto the harbour was nice. I believe that the bathroom could do with an update as the shower/bath button did not work and I had to fill the bath with the shower head. I am not sue whether the apartment was mopped either as there were a few tea stains in the kitchen area. Instructions were good and given in good time from the host. There is no sound insulation in the bedroom from the upstairs flat and you could hear the noises from the bathroom directly above Probably would not stay again as I require a bit more privacy in terms of the outdoor space

Self catering, biggest plus was the location, the view and close proximity to the town. The apartment had all the facilities that you need for a short stay.

The apartment could have been cleaner, particularly the floors, which a lot of bits on them, a bit disappointed with this aspect.
