Piccadilly Place - 3 Bedroom House

Great location, clean, nicely furnished. Perfect for a group stay in York

Great location, modern decor and facilities. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean Kitchen was well equipped and modern Lounge comfortable and good TV options Walking distance to city centre but also on a good bus route. Was nice to have tea, coffee, washing up liquid etc provided.

When we booked, the onsite parking was a main factor in our decision to stay here. It’s not easy finding city centre accommodation with parking so we were pleased. After the cancellation window had expired and full payment taken we were told there was no longer parking available on site and we needed to park at a pay and display car park a couple of streets away. This car park is a) very expensive if you need to park all week like we did, and b) is a popular car park so we couldn’t get a space. It seems as though the issue on site is that people were parking at the front of the house (which has adequate room for a large car) but would park partly on the public pavement in front of the house, blocking the route for pedestrians. If you either diagonally park or parallel parking on the front gravelled area you can fit your car on quite comfortably and not cause an issue. The bathroom is great overall but it’s an overhead shower within the bath and the shower screen is not effective at keeping the water in so you tend to get a very flooded bathroom floor each day.

Excellent location, just round corner from city centre. Wetherspoons down the road with lovely riverside terrace. Rooms and beds comfortable and clean. Attractively decorated and nicely done. Very quiet neighbourhood.

View out of back garden terrace is of a block of flats. No lock on bathroom door. Stairs are steep and narrow.

We liked the location which was so close to all the attractions, shopping and eating places in York. We liked the house and the facilities. It was really quiet and relaxing.

Five minutes from everywhere we needed to be, mostly quiet area, good amenities including some excellent restaurants within a five minute walk.

The bathroom was a little cramped, did not like the layout of the overbath shower, wasn't much room to manouver in or out.

Most things, but we were particularly glad to find a property with three double bedrooms.

(obviously this is only a very minor point/suggestion) if you had wanted to cook in the property I couldn't see any cooking spoons - otherwise kitchen was well-equipped.

The property was a standard terrace, small outdoor rear space which we didn't use, but everything you'd want and all nearly new. It was great to have three bedrooms, so our boys didn't have to share.

Although the property is brilliantly just 10 mins walk from the centre of York, the area immediately around the property is a little tired, so be prepared to look past that. There is also some confusion over parking. The Booking. com details say not, the welcome pack suggested there is.

Location ,parking ,host very accommodating answered the phone straight away ,nothing was a problem ,spotless ,had a washing machine dishwasher ,next to a Wetherspoons

The house was in a great location,shops,pubs was just a short walk away House was very clean,with everything you needed Would definitely recommend this property and the company got back in touch very quickly with any answers to questions we asked.
