Lucy's Lodge- Most Stylish Apartment On Vibrant Bishy Road with Free Parking

The place is not really very suitable for four people. There is a relatively small and quite uncomfortable sofa-bed in the livingroom. Additionally, the bathroom's extractor fan is not powerful enough and keeping the bathroom dry can be quite difficult.

apartment fab lovely Xmas tree nice touch,,, very comfortable and cosy we were a bit apprehensive when we arrived as the entrance was not the best,, but it is above a restaurant so you have to look past that,,,,,our concerns were alleviated when we entered the property. parking just outside free ,,, could hear music from restaurant all Friday until about 11 not really a problem,,

bathroom clean modern and tidy,,, mould around bath and shower screen,, nothing a spray of bleach wouldn't rectify

Location was good for train station and city centre Pleanty of shops in area

Great location, 10 mins walk from the city centre. Lovely apartment, everything you need for a weekend! Communication was excellent and all questions answered quickly which was great. Great host of coffee shops on the street and bonus to have a pizzeria below the apartment. Would 100% stay again on our next visit to York! Thank you

Travelled with another couple which meant we spent £40 on the 24hour carpark as they had the parking permit.. This wasn't an issue but there were 4/5 spaces around the permitted one that were empty for the entirety of our stay. Not a gripe at all as it didn't spoil our time and I'm no expert with parking permits and cost, but if travelling with multiple cars, a second permit would be ideal. Again though, not essential with everything so close.

Lovely apartment. Everything you could need. Very clean. Excellent location, just a ten minute walk into York. Really good local facilities. Highly recommended the place!

It was a bit noisy at night time - sounded like someone was moving tables around downstairs for quite a while! Getting up the stairs after running the Yorkshire marathon, bit steep. This is a very tongue in cheek comment!!

location is excellent, breakfast is at nearby cafés of which there are many to choose from, with lots of bars nearby and restaurants aplenty too, so no shortage of choices for food or drink.......... Apartment is okay with decent ambience and comfortable enough apart from the mattress, (see below)

I have just turned 70 and think the mattress on the bed is older than me!! This certainly needs addressing with the utmost haste as we hardly had a decent night's sleep due to the creaking and groaning of the mattress with even the slightest of movements! As the property is situated above an Italian restaurant the early morning whiff of really strong smelling garlic from food preparation down below may concern some people, it was quite smelly every morning and certainly not something you would want to wake up to!!

I love how the place is close to the city centre, and is very accessible. The whole place is cozy and very welcoming.
