Hunter’s Retreat

For a solo traveller like me it is huge! Check-in was easy using code to enter main door and another to access lock box by front door. Great location, couple of minutes from Shambles or in other direction the Minster and roughly 15min walk from station. Fully equipped kitchen, though I struggled to use the oven!

If I had to be picky, I’d like larger bath towels and stronger shower. The TV reception was non-existent but I had a Firestick with me so was able to watch using wi-fi. Looks like it may now be fixed.

Location was great. The place was huge and would be perfect for families. Really well stocked kitchen.

It's very minor but the tvs and clothes washer were hard to figure out. (Eg TVs not properly connected to service)

Property is in a great location, right in the centre of York. Plenty of space and had everything we needed.

We had the best weekend in the best place we have stayed in a long time. Central location, safe and secure, comfortable and roomy, in fact a massive apartment! I didn’t want to leave. The apartment had everything you could need , comfortable bed, large livingroom, two bathrooms, large fully equipped kitchen with additional livingroom. Comfy bed. Such a great location too, car park was 5 mins walk away.

We will definitely return, there are no negatives.

Fabulous apartment, 2 bathrooms one each is the way forward! Lovely kitchen and dining area, plenty of room for everything
