"We loved our stay this apartment and certainly hope to go back for another visit before long"

We loved the location and enjoyed watching all the activities on the River Ouze. It was very conveniently situated for access to the city and also to the railway station.

The lift in the building was not operating at all so it was a little tricky to get our cases up 2 flights of stairs. Apart from that we were happy to walk upstairs.

"probably the best location in town for a rental flat if you don't need a lift"

can't beat the location - in front of the main pubs shore. good apt. for 2 people. enough places to eat 2 min. away, and Sainsbury's 100 meter on the main road. has a washing machine and dish washer for longer stays (did not use it as we came for 3 nights). Very well arranged, did not miss anything.

THE ELEVATOR DOES NOT WORK. NOT NOW, NOT EVER. IF YOU MUST HAVE A LIFT - THIS FLAT (No. 30, second floor) IS NOT FOR YOU. Plus, window curtains cover only the inner window - light comes out easily. This can wake you up early. See photos. the window does not open for full, just 15 cm both, so not so much air flow. The price is high - but this is similar to other properties in York (same category). the towel heater did not work, can cause some problem with the towels. No aircon - so can be hot during the summer.

the apartment was great, the building stopped a higher review - lift out of action, emergency lighting on stairway failed, front door auto lock failed.

"Birthday celebration"

Fantastic location with beautiful views. Premises were fully catered with everything you needed and comprehensive instructions on hand.

Broken down lift which we were not informed about. Premises were chosen because of easy access and personal mobility issues, but were spoilt because of this breakdown.

"Fantastic location"

Very very good location, right in the city centre. Good size and kitchen very well stocked with utensils etc. Lovely apartment. View right over the river.
