The location was handy to shops and most places of interest. View of river was very pleasant. Plenty of almost instant hot water.

Cooking facilities and materials disappointingly minimal - not even salt & pepper, cling film or aluminium foil. Solid electric hob plates very dated and efficient. TV reception intermittent. Small double bed uncomfortable. Building lift out of action on arrival and for most of our stay including on departure. It was fixed briefly but broke down again necessitating manhandling of 23 kg suitcase up and down 2 levels

Great location, gorgeous views of the river from the apartment and a lovely place to stay. Apartment as well as the block is quiet and clean. Hosts were very helpful- even phoning ahead to make sure that i knew the lift was out of action- and provided everything you could need for a short stay.

The apartment is located on the opposite side of the river to a Slug and Lettuce which on a bank holiday weekend is quite loud on both Saturday and Sunday nights as the music carries across the river. However, noise reduced considerably after 11pm. Nothing that the owners can do to help this- just a little forewarning for others staying. Otherwise an excellent stay.
