"York trip"

Large spacious lounge,well equipped property. Location to bus route for city centre & local shops. Enjoyable stay except for points mentioned below.... would stay again if have smaller 🧳🙂

1. Bedside lamp bases are a bit large for bedside tables, little room to put drink, clock,phone etc. 2. Bedroom window needs attention, very draughty as something wrong with it (I did message owners but never got a reply) 3. Property only accessable via 2 flights of stairs, not good when you're traveling with large, heavy luggage on your own....had I known about this(in property description) I would not have booked. 4. Would have been nice to have a coat hook in hall & toiletries other than hand soap.

High ceiling and good open plan kitchen and living room.

No wardrobes and bathroom was very tiny. I would have preferred if it had a balcony though.

"Fantastic location!"

The location was great, with a bus stop 30 seconds down the road going straight into York. We felt very secure in the property. There was ample information inside the property about the property itself and also things to do in York. The property was well equipped and generally very clean.

We felt that some things needed some attention. The sofa had quite a few stains and could do with a clean. The mattress and pillows also are in need of upgrading. It would have been nice to have somewhere to hang coats and towels. It got quite chilly in the evenings and the radiators took some time to heat up, therefore maybe some blankets/throws would have been a nice touch.

It was beautiful and very clean, even had a Christmas tree up. It was like home from home.

Bit cold when we got there the heating could have been put on because it did take a while for electric heaters to warm up.
