Moorgate View With Free On Street Parking

The location was great. Clean, good WiFi, easy check-in process, and a very comfortable bed. Very spacious and a short 10min with the car to the center of York. Felt like a safe and quiet neighborhood.

The only slightly negative point is the traffic on the street in the morning. Not that it’s a particularly busy street, but the bedroom is facing the street, and in the summer with the windows open, it can be a bit noisy during rush hour. Nothing that is overwhelming, but definitely noticeable.

Spacious comfortable apartment with lots of daylight, due to high ceilings and windows. Comfy beds. Great location to explore York from. Communication with host was very prompt and friendly.

We are readers and the light at night was not great to read by.

Fantastic location, just a short journey by bus from the city centre and railway station. Pub and shops nearby. Lovely apartment which was very clean and well equipped. Would happily stay here again.

Providing some soap for the shower would have been nice.

Not enough storage - suitcase had to live on settee! Couldn’t open windows when hot. Not enough mugs - ok for me but if two or more staying, not good. Bit of problem with two lots of stairs - difficult with suitcase.

Perfect apartment everything you needed and more, literally like a home from home.. bit of a walk to the town centre about a good 30 min walk, but there is a bus stop about a 30 second walk if that the number 1 or 840 drops you in the centre price did change on the buses each time we used them was between £2-£3 each.. there is a pub a few mins walk called the Carlton and if you keep walking there are some shops and takeaways near by. 100% defo would stay again clean and tidy and modern. There’s only 2 small mirrors in the apartment.. So a full length mirror would be great asset ..

The location was excellent for seeing York. The bus stop was a block away which made for easy movement to and from all the tourist spots of the city. Several grocery stores were an easy walk away, giving multiple options for picking up supplies. We parked the car once, and didn't move it until we left the city. The flat itself was well appointed and comfortable. It was nice to have a washer/dryer for doing laundry and not having to find a laundromat.

There was little to dislike about the flat. Other than an empty salt shaker, the basics were all covered. The stairs to the flat were long which made for multiple tiring trips bringing in luggage and supplies, but that's a personal issue.
