Fantastically equipped and well kept characterful apartment. 2 floors, 2 double bedrooms and right in the heart of the city. The service was fantastic, including a phone call on rhe morning to ensure they had the details of our car to register it for the free parking a stone's throw away from the apartment (I'd failed to respond to the message previously) Was really impressed. Cosy but more rhan big enough for a small family or pair of couples. With a fully equipped and good quality kitchen, including washing machine and dishwasher it is perfect for longer stays as well. There's so many places to eat merely yards away we didnt really utilise that this time though If you're going for the night scene or the tourist attractions this is spot on. An absolute gem of a place

The only minor markdown is I found the mattresses to be too soft, I do have a bad back though so that could well be more me than them lol. Regardless, the long list of positives far outweigh that and we will be booking again for sure.

It was an amazing location with great home from home facilities.

There was no bath

The location is very close to everything. We came for a show at The York Barbican just a short walk away. We found it quiet and private. Cute little place with everything you would need. Parking was included and easy to navigate, very close to the accommodation. We were able to arrived a little early which was really appreciated. Communication was swift and helpful.

We would have liked a proper blind on the kitchen window and window at the top of the stairs. Just a little quirky thing of mine. I like to have complete privacy.

Everything was great, clean, location, lovely place, beds comfy, just a great place to stay

Nothing all good

Excellent location, super comfy beds, and very well appointed.

Bedroom windows faced a bar so would have been difficult to sleep without earplugs.

Well equipped, spacious and clean. Excellent position for exploring the city centre of York. Parking within a large carpark is close by and Sally was incredibly helpful when we had some difficulty with access.

Lack of communication from the host - no info re keys - no paid parking despite it being advertised - not the property as pictured - damaged shower door, leaking roof etc

Great communication with the owners prior to arrival and wow the location, perfectly centered for the city and no need for a car once you’re there as it’s walkable everywhere. The property is very well appointed with all you’ll need and although parking is a little tricky for drop off the car park near the property is great and as long as your expectation is aligned no issue what so ever.

It’s a little small but that’s to be expected, given the location.

The apartment was spotless, right in the middle of the city not too far from anything!
