I had to leave immediately. The property was filthy. I have sent photos in to you by email. I am waiting for a refund. The host was terrible! Did not answer his phone when I could not get into property. I have never ever stayed someone so disgusting. You should not let this man advertise this property. It is deceiving and caused a lot of upset for me.

Nice location. Clean and comfortable. Good shower. The free car parking was great.

Could do with a bifold door on the shower if I was a little bigger I would not be able to get in. That probably says more about me than the accommodation.

Hi Neil I booked and paid for your accommodation in good faith, using the published photos as a guide to the condition of the property. Upon arrival I followed check in instructions dealing with 4 unlabelled keys, struggling through a narrow hallway with luggage, unlocking 2 doors one of which the lock is about to fall out of, only to find I could have just walked around the back. I was then confronted with the frankly dingy courtyard which is in desperate need of a sweep & a pressure wash. This was not the best start. The carpets in the apartment are stained & had not been properly hoovered, lots of wiry black hairs that definitely were not ours. The large shower head in the bathroom is rusty & covered in limescale, the small shower hose is dirty & about to fail at the fitting and the extractor fan is a filthy disgrace. You had left tea in the kitchen but the pictured coffee machine was no where to be seen, even a budget hotel provides tea & coffee. There was no tea towel, no hand towels or any salt & pepper, basic surely when self catering? I messaged you about the TV at 15.20 on Thursday, you didn’t reply until 19.10. I messaged about the Toilet at 8.49 on Friday, you didn’t reply until 11.35 which is when I also told you about the fridge & you said you’d take a look, I had to message again Saturday morning & you finally bought a small fridge on Saturday afternoon, I don’t consider that to be straight away. I was asked to provide my credit card details before my stay incase I damaged something so feel it’s only fair that that my £400 3 night stay with a broken fridge, faulty Toilet & faulty TV in accommodation that was certainly not as described needs to be properly compensated. Regards Lynda For clarity,after contacting booking.com I was offered £100 as a goodwill gesture, I refused as I felt it wasn’t enough, not even 1 free night for staying somewhere that is so clearly misrepresented.

Great location, local to town and modern look

We only got check in details after completing a security deposit on a third party link. Booking.com confirmed the property should not be doing this. We also messaged a few times asking for check in information and got the details an hour before check in which was concerning. The toilet flush is not great, it doesn’t always flush and water is running constantly unless you manually lift the pump (not great!) The property itself just needs some TLC as a little run down and overused. The landlord was also very abrupt and non commutative when we had an issue leading us to resolve directly with booking.com. However, he was great to start with, offering recommendations.

Really nice accommodation, close to the city centre and easy to access. Neil was really helpful and gave us clear instructions on how to enter the property, as well as lots of recommendations for food, drinks and attractions. The property was well equipped and really cosy, would definitely stay again/recommend!

The water pressure was low and the toilet flush would go on forever, but otherwise lovely!!

The property was very clean and we had everything we needed. A great location as the centre is a short walk down the river.
