Out of Office @ Ryedale House

Lovely decor, brilliant location, great facilities. We were a group of 5 and it was just perfect for us.

We had a couple of issues with the shower and a wonky chair! Reported them and a handyman arrived within half an hour and sorted them. Absolutely amazing service at a weekend as well!

Amazing location right in the centre of York, just a few steps away from Parliament Street. Brand new property with lift access. The apartment was large, with a spacious living area and kitchen, as well as 2 en-suite bathrooms and a separate toilet, which is a rare find!

The sofa bed (single-sized) and fold up bed were not comfortable (we booked for 6 people), but certainly not deal-breakers. The heavy curtains in the living room were mounted on rather flimsy rails, and fell down during our stay (the maintenance team were prompt about coming up to check on the problem but were unable to fix it in time as it was over the Easter break).

* Very watered down washing up liquid. Not expected for the price. * Empty hand soap in bathroom. * Lights in kitchen not working. * Rusty shelf in ensuite bathroom. * Coffee table leg loose. * Shower needs attention. Scale meant the spray went every direction, wetting the floor. * No extra bin bags.

Apartment is amazing. Stayed for the weekend with a group of 6 girls. Spacious and had everything we needed. The decor is gorgeous and we all felt a cosy vibe. Rooms very decent size with comfy beds. Both Showers are powerful and the bath is a good size. Washing machine in the cupboard next to dining table with spare pillows and duvet if needed. Check in and checking out was fairly easy. Guest access to Netflix, WiFi great too.

We travelled in 2 cars, only one car park bay available per apartment. There is a over night stay car park around 5 minute walk, which we did use although you have to pay for this.

The property is really lovely, well equipped, clean and in a great location.
