Not only was there a beautiful view of the bay, but the house is set in a relatively quite location a short walk along the promenade from Kotor, which we were very happy about because although Kotor is very beautiful, it can get very crowded at certain times of day. The property is also handily positioned by an excellent bike hire shop, which we made good use of. The host, Drago, really went out of his way to make us feel at home, even encouraging us to pick mandarins and lemons from the trees surrounding the property. The property itself also feels like a piece of history. Guests are greeted by a family tree going back centuries and the stairwell is bedecked with paintings and historical curiosities.
