Great location. Just a few blocks from the bus and railway stations, but down a pedestrian side street so you avoid the noise and commotion. Good breakfast and friendly host.

Despite the listing saying that there is a a private bathroom that is untrue. There is only a SHARED bathroom. Don't promise something if you don't have it! 😡😡😡 Daily cleaning was also promised, but not delivered upon. Host also entered our room multiple times without permission.

Perfect location across the road from Galle fort, by the bus and train station. Amazing breakfast cooked by Naina, and the room was super comfortable: great AC and fan, huge four poster bed with well-fitting mosquito net, big bathroom, balcony to dry clothes. The two guest rooms are above the main house so there's always someone around if you need anything!

Nothing, it was perfect.

The location

No one cares that you are a tourist who came to have rest. At 5am the host started doing something noisy on the ground floor. The bed was uncomfortable and noisy. Then I was eating in the same room as some guy was renovating the floor with smelly liquid. I don’t know how to call this behavior - impoliteness of locals.

The lady owner was very kind and helpful. The place feel like home.

Location is good

Very arrogant worst lady caretaker. Full of mosquitoes.in the property so using the net for mosquitoes means you don’t get fan breeze, so it gets very hot, and the AC is not working well. And again bathroom is shard. This is a very old property, so at sleeping time, a wooden bed crackle sound disturbs your sleep. In a simple world, a haunted villa without TV.

It was very near to the Galle train station, perhaps an easy 5-min walk. The room was big, with a desk and cupboard. Wifi was decent. The breakfast provided was big - comprised of multiple fruits, egg hoppers, and a few other local delicacies. Can easily last you for half a day at the very least.

The place did not have any signage so it took us a while to get there. While the breakfast was delicious, it was not the warmest. One of the two towels that we got was a bit smaller. The bathroom is not en-suite but it was mentioned upfront - just a reminder so you won't be shocked at it. Might not be suitable for those with late night plans because the door was locked when we got home at 9pm (but the host was there to open the doors).

The lady host refused to entertain me. She told me not to come for no reason. Extremely ill mannered person.
