Ariyadasa Guest House

We had a lovely stay here. The room was clean, there was a mosquito net and also the shared bathroom was good. The breakfast was lovely! The location is great, only 10 minute walk from the fort.

Met the host at the property who provided the key. Local breakfast was nice and the air condition worked well. I consider the room rate good value. Mosquito net provided - use it, we're in the tropics.

It took a bit of time to locate the property as it's off the main road, and there's no Ariyadasa Guest House signage on the property itself. This is a guesthouse which is shared with the hosts. If you expect a hotel environment, then this is not a place for you.

Very welcoming lovely lady. House is just off the Main Street so is quite quiet despite central location. Lovely room. Clean bedding. Plenty of sockets and good wifi. I had to leave early to catch a bus. The host made the effort to get up early and make me a breakfast to takeaway ! Thank you !

Great little place just outside of Old Town Galle. The room was small, but comfortable with an AC and breakfast. Great value for money, but nothing too fancy. True home stay.

Spacious, clean and tidy room! The breakfast was huge and delicious and we were looked after! We got some washing done here too which was a good price! The location is just behind the bus station so it was easy to get around and it was a 10 minute walk to the fort! Nice to be within the locals!

Breakfast was big, fresh and delicious. Really fills you up, order the Sri Lankan style. Host was very kind and helpful. Nice semi private dining area and balcony. Rooms had all facilities needed, air conditioning etc. Shared bathroom was good, as there seems to be only two rooms in the guest house and I had it to myself most of the time.

It was all good but we had a little trouble with the wifi the first day but not the fault of the guest house. Owner went out of her way to sort it out. It’s down a lane way, a little hard to find but no problem.
