Casa Mi Tu

Irene and her husband are very nice helpful people, thanks to their tips we had an amazing time in Genua. The house was very good and the street had all the shops that we needed

Seul petit bémol, le bruit de la rue est très présent, y compris la nuit.

La grande bienveillance et la gentillesse des hôtes.Irene nous a apporté de nombreux conseils pour profiter de Gênes (parle francais). L'emplacement en plein cœur du centre historique et à quelques pas de l'aquarium. Le parking proposé par Irène: une fois la voiture garée, tout se fait à pied.

Our stay in the beautiful Genoa was amazing, also thanks to Irene. Finding your way with the car through the complex maze of underground roads, tunnels, network of parking garages under the city, would be impossible. But Irene and her husband made it easy, meeting us in an easy to get to location and then taking us into the maze, both with the car and on foot. That first walking tour of the city was crucial to make us fall in love with the narrow streets surrounded by tall buildings of ol Genoa. The apartment is spacious and clean, has everything a family might need for any length of stay (the washer was very welcome!), and the AC works. And the location... you cannot hope for a better spot. Everything is within a few minutes walk, and the narrow streets have all the grocery stores you might want. Aquarium (which you need to visit) is less than 10 minutes away on foot... maybe 5?... when we return to Genoa, we will also return to Casa Mi Tu.

It is hard to go past it, but the stairs offer a tough cardio exercise to get to the 3rd floor. Can be hard after spending an entire day on foot :) but it is worth it, the kindness of Irene and the location make up for it.

I recently reached out to the Italian Prime Minister to suggest the immediate appointment of Irene as Minister for Tourism and Culture. What an exceptional ambassador she would be for Italy!  On a related note, our stay at Casa Mi Tu was nothing short of extraordinary. The communication, advice, location, facilities, and warm welcome were all impeccable. grazie e ci rivedremo John & John

Our only regret? Not booking a longer stay! 

Good location

Not for a disabled person.over 60 steps to get to room.

A very clean and central accommodation in the centre of Genova. Irene was there to greet us and gave us great advice on what to do in the vicinity. A really lovely place to stay.

Just beware there are a lot of steps up to the apartment, about 72, a good work out it has to be said, but worth it when you get to the apartment.
