Casa Mi Tu

Irene was e extremely welcoming and helpful.The bedrooms were very comfortable and it was great to have two bathrooms for two couples. It was a very central location.

The stairs were very hard for us with our big suitcases which we need to bring on a six week trip to Europe.

Excellent hosts. Very friendly. Great facilities. Spacious. Information booklet available.

Very noisy at night. Hosts have said this is a new thing and have reported it to the police. They intend to replace the windows to block the sound.

The apartment is very good and clean. The location is very good, right in the centre. The hosts are fantastic, very helpful and great at communicating.

Unfortunately, the apartment is above what seems to be the drug dealing centre of Genova. The dealers hang around in the street below the apartment and are very loud at night and into the early hours. It was like this each night we were there. Unfortunately I would not stay here again because of the noise in the street. It's important that customers know about this.

This is a clean and spacious apartment right in the heart of the old town. Because it is in the centre there is noise and light at night, and approximately 70 steep stairs to reach the apartment. This was not a problem for me but is something to be aware of before you book. The apartment is excellent value for money. Irene and Gianni were very gracious hosts, and they gave me some great dining recommendations. I hope to return to Genova one day soon and stay here again. Thank you!

The location was awesome and so close to everything. Our hosts were so helpful and went the extra mile to help us find it and give us a history of the area. The beds were very comfortable.

The showers were bad. It was noisy at night time. There wasn't a jug but could use a pot!

The port front was five minutes away , everything I needed was on the doorstep food outlets bars the underground.The Host Irene was lovely , the apartment was located on a main street with food shops and bakeries , one large double ensuite and one room with twin beds and a separate bath room, large sitting room with a TV and sofas, it was a very functional set up.. All made for an excellent stay In the surprise of a city , I would gladly go back tomorrow.

The apartment is on a high floor so the stairs may be an issue for older people or anyone with younger children , but a minor thing and an observation not not picking

the hosts were very kind and responded immediately to our questions. they gave us a lot of information about the city. the appartment was clear.

the apartment is located on a very dirty street with a lot of fights during the night while there are incidents of human trafficking and drug use. our return at night to the accommodation was very stressful. at home I would like to have amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, extra towels, and toilet paper,

Our hostess and her husband went out of their way to accommodate our late arrival and even went so far as to collect us from the station. The location could not have been better and we loved the bedrooms and master bathroom - all of which overlooked the street, which was vibrant.

Lots of stairs with luggage- will teach us to pack lighter next time 😀. The general living areas - lounge, dining-room and kitchen don’t get much natural light but this was more than made up for in the bedrooms.

The hosts are absolutely marvellous. We were met at a central spot where we transferred our luggage to the hosts' vehicle. (The centre of Genova where the property is located is a vehicle-free zone, so this was very helpful even though we did not have heavy luggage.) Gianni drove ahead of my husband to the nearby private parking where we could leave our vehicle for the duration of our stay (€15 per day) and they then drove together with our luggage nearer to the apartment where we could unload. My daughter and I walked with Irene to the apartment so we could get a sense of the city immediately. On the walk, she pointed out the important sites, gave us a brief history of Genova and suggested other sites worth visiting. The location of the apartment is a double-edged sword. It is perfectly central with everything within walking distance but that also means it is not always quiet at night. Not necessarily rowdy but not the best for light sleepers. We did not mind. The kitchen is basic but adequate: microwave, hob, dishes and cutlery. There is a mini market within a minute's walk. The best bakery/pastry shop (Focacceria San Luca) is next door. Two large bathrooms and two large bedrooms, a large living/dining area. The flat is on the second floor with a proper climb and no lift. It would not be suitable for mobility-challenged but easily doable for anyone else. It was spotlessly clean and so easy to relax right away. I would not hesitate to rebook Casa Mi Tu.

If it were quieter at night BUT I like to be central when visiting a new city and that's the price one pays.
