Location, cleanness, view, security, and aminities were wonderful

There was a strong cleaning product smell the hits you when you get in, but eventually you get used to

Non working appliances. None working ceiling fans. Lack of kitchen supplies.

While the listing mentions 'penthouse,' it’s more of a standard high-floor condo, but that didn't take away from the stay. [1] Pros: * The View: Absolutely sensational. One of the best ocean views you can get in Jacó. * Cleanliness & Amenities: The unit was well-cleaned upon arrival. Both the washer and dryer worked perfectly, which is a huge plus for longer stays. The TV also comes equipped with apps for entertainment. * Host Communication: Roger (the host) was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. [2, 3, 4] Good to Know: * Location: The building is located at the very end of the beach. It’s nice and quiet, but you will need to Uber to get into the main part of town. It’s roughly $2 each way, so it’s very affordable but something to plan for. [1] Overall, it is well worth the money. I had no issues during my visit and would definitely stay here again!"

It was quiet and had a lovely balcony. They provided beach towels.

There were cockroachs in the kitchen. In order to be allowed in we had to call because they never told security we were coming.
