Palazzo Pio Apartment

Just wow! We recently had the great pleasure of staying at Palazzo Pio, the apartment itself was nothing short of spectacular. It was beautifully kept and spotless, with stunning old world features, including gorgeous mosaic floors. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore everything the beautiful Lecce has to offer. The host Tommaso made us feel at home, he was attentive and kind and provided excellent local advice. Without a doubt, this was the best accommodation in Italy we experienced and the warm hospitality made it all the more special.

Absolutely comfortable. The attention to old world details in the decor was exceptional .truly an amazing place. And so spacious.

Staying here was a wonderful experience. Tomasso was so helpful and he arranged for us to rent a parking space in a small garage around the corner and I would definitely recommend that. It was a great location for exploring Lecce. The home itself was historic luxury. The mosaic floors were stunning and the rooms were filled with beautiful antique furniture. The garden area was also beautiful. The apartment is very large and grand and we also appreciated all the guide books that were available to us. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Wow ,what an apartment! Absolutely beautiful, and so palatial we loved it . Everything you needed very clean and not far from sights and restaurants etc . Host was very helpful, we would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone. Many thanks

An absolutely stunning property more beautiful and spacious than the pictures show. Guiseppe is a gracious and generous host as well as his mother who lives across the hall.

There was nothing about the property that we didn’t like per se, but bring earplugs. The elderly proprietor of the bar across the street plays disco music from morning till late at extremely loud volume. It can be eliminated if the windows and shutters are closed and earplugs worn. This was extremely annoying and the only thing that is a detractor.

Huge apartment in a wonderful palazzo with 2 extremely large bedrooms, dining room with table that seats 18, a lounge, kitchen and a study. There are 2 bathrooms, one is an ensuite. The location is just outside the Centro storico and is a 10 minute walk from the main train station. It is well appointed and includes a washing machine. The palazzo has gardens which you can use for an evening aperitivo or pop downstairs to any of the many bars and restaurants. Perfect. Our host Tommaso was welcoming and provided lots of information. Would happily recommend.

Be aware that the palazzo is located on a main road so there is some traffic noise. Also there are many restaurants and bars in the vicinity that are open late so there is noise. The shutters keep this noise down and it wasn’t a huge issue.
