OESIS - Stylish Villa Steps from Historic Galle Fort

Lovely accommodation, ideal for a family in a great quiet location within a short walking distance to the shops and fort. Ideal base to visit many amazing sandy beaches and other tourist locations, plenty within easy reach.

The host was great 👍 the only suggestion is that I would provide small toiletries for the lovely on suite bathrooms. It is a great help at small cost to guests arriving after a long flight who need a shower.

Location-easy to walk into town! Bedrooms really comfortable, appreciated air conditioning and bathroom for each bedroom.

Main living space was quite hot as only has fans no air conditioning.

Sehr sauber, groß und gemütlich. Man fühlt sich wie Zuhause. Meine Kinder wollten sogar länger bleiben, weil dieses d. erste Ort war wo sie sich wohl gefühlt haben seit d. sie in Sri Lanka sind. Also das nächste Mal 100% wieder hier 🤩🥰

The place & the service were so good.

The location. It’s near to the beach and short drive to Galle fort.

The house was very dirty and sticky. If it was cleaned and maintained well, the property has great potential. Also note they demand complete payment in cash upon arrival and in local currency. It’s non negotiable and won’t hand over without it.

It’s so much more spacious and beautiful than shown in the pictures. The villa is straight out of your dreams—ideal for our family of six, including a toddler. The location is perfect, just a beautiful 5-10 minute walk from the majestic Galle Fort. Mr. Nande, the caretaker, is extremely hospitable. We never felt hesitant to call him for even the smallest inconvenience, and he was never delayed in attending to every call, every need. He even offered to drop us to the railway station—which again is just a kilometre away—since our train was in the wee hours of the morning. A truly incredible touch.

A couple of the bedroom fans didn’t work and it would have been good to have screens on the doors as you need them open. Lots of mosquitoes. Bedrooms are air conditioned but not living areas.
