Kekatos Studios

Booked last minute with Tui for 4 nights. Glad we choose to stay at Kekatos studios. We had room 11 on the ground floor which was great. Bedroom at the back with comfy bed. A tiled shower room and toilet. and a kitchen, dinning and seating area at the front with patio doors opening up on to our outside patio with table and chairs and a sun lounger. The studio was well equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils, glassware and plates etc. The studio was very clean and tidy. All the studios have a lovely sea views, with either a patio our balcony. There is also a nice shaded outside seating area to sit and relax and take in the views. A great pool with plenty of sun loungers and 2 large parasols for shade. It`s a 5 minute walk down the hill to the beach and 7 minute walk up the hill to the nearest supermarket and bakery. Plus there are some really nice Greek taverns a long the sea front around a 10 minute walk. We had a very peaceful and relaxing holiday, it was perfect and just what we needed. We look forward to returning again one day.

This is a stunning 12 room studio block …communal sitting area and pool are first class . The views from every angle are breathtaking and .the local area is alive with bars supermarkets and restaurants ….( worth hiring a car to get a bigger picture of the island …contact Rent and Explore ) The shining star here is Marina who keeps the place spotless and replaces towels and bedding daily . BUT ….will the owners of the place please take note …there were 3 things niggling us ! 1 The WiFi ….most of the time it’s weak or not accessible …at best it’s hit and miss ( mainly MISS) 2 Hot water …should be plentiful in holiday accommodation…some days flat cold …others no better than lukewarm. 3 Comfortable bed !! …not in room 11 …..I couldn’t believe it when I saw a mattress virtually on the floor! If you didn’t come with a bad back you’ll certainly leave with one !

Stunning views from these apartments but that is because you are on the side of a moumtain ... The roads are incredibly steep here ive never seen anything like them before and ive been many places abroad ..there are no buses running due to the time of year ... I could only make it to the supermarket that was a bit of a struggle as well , there was no way i could have walked any further up that hill it just gets steeper and steeper .. I have arthritis in both knees .. I recommend you hire a car on the first day and do your weeks shopping at the lidl ..we just shopped at the supermarket , by the way, they sell outdated spirits .. The food at the bars and taverna,s is all excellent best food we,ve had anywhere in greece ... The studio s are well equipped , comfy beds and all have sea views We had a few problems with things broken etc, but everything was promptly fixed .. there are also courtesy umbrella s to take to the beach ... The WIFI does not work anywhere within the apartments , if you sit by the big red vase by the pool you will see the WIFI mast , i was on it but it still didnt work 🤷‍♂️

Such a great place. I booked last minute with my boyfriend and everything was great. The complex was quiet & chill which was perfect + the pool which was definitely needed. The room had everything you would want and just as seen in the photos. The location was pretty good- not too far from a number of great beaches (still a little walk) & we often used electric scooters that you can rent across the area, or the bus to go into Argostoli to save walking. Management were super helpful & replied very quickly. We had a late flight and they were happy to store our bags during the day. Plenty of general stores nearby, a long with loads of restaurants- don't miss out on Argostoli though. Get the bus from the airport!!! They go very frequently from the airport to Argostoli, through Lassi (there's a stop right by the road uptown the apartments & are very cheap- compared to like 25 euros for the taxis).

The rooms were basic, but that's what you expect with Greek self catering accommodation, but they were very clean and attended to every other day. The pool area was also very clean and very quiet and we had the pool to ourselves for long periods of our stay. Apart from the hill up to the apartments, they are in a good location.

We had a fantastic holiday at these apartments. We were a group of 5 so had one apartment on the 1st floor & one on the ground floor. Both were spotlessly clean & had fantastic sea views. The beach and tavernas are a short walk way. However it is quite a steep hill on the way back but my 73 year old mum managed it fine. The pool is small but very nice. Hopefully we’ll be back! The only thing we could complain about is that it was dark when we arrived so not east to find the board with your room number on a post it note that was check in. It was also difficult to find the room as it was dark & no signs but as the place is so small it didn’t take us long. Air conditioning is €10 per day extra.
