It was clean

It was a complete different room than the one I booked, there are no stairs and the fire alarm went on every time I used my hair dryer

Air conditioning in the room and we were surprised how calm it was on the street in the night.

Street is on the hill, there was certain odour in the room and a bit small bathroom

Location was nice! Apartment was cosy and clean.

Price of the apartment was great regarding to the location it has. It was not far from the centre

Space, location, it had some amenities like iron, hairddryer

The checkin took us time, because she put the wrong key in the box, I had to call the owner instead of fixing the problem she kept explaining why the error happened which i didn’t care. Anyway the entrance is smelly because of some people cooking. The one bedroom apartment with garden is a joke, it is basically the basement and the garden is a mess, with a lot of bushes. No maintenance at all. The apartment was not clean, the floor was not cleaned at all. I told this the owner and she insisted that it was clean because she did the cleaning her self. I asked her if she used a mop to clean the floor and she said yes, that she had a special mop 😅 Guess what the mop was there and dry, not used for at least a weeks. And then promised to come tomorrow to clean again, that was a big LIE. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever seen. The mattress was so old that it had metallic stuff poking on your back. Now imagine you are on holidays and cant sleep at all. The bathroom was smelly and it was not clean. That is not a place for a human to sleep. I am sorry that I have to say this, for the others so they can make informed decisions.

On the second night, we arrived finding the apartment flooded with dirty water from a leakage on the ceiling. The owner tried to clean the place but the problem wasn't immediately resolved. We weren't able to sleep that night as the strong leakage happened again, flooding the apartment. I tried to write and send the owner some videos of the horrifying situation but I did not receive any response until I wrote her again during the day. Our supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned out to be very stressful. Additionally, the apartment was invaded by insects.

Super comfy, central location and well furnished.

It wasn’t my first stay in Porto. Stayed for a week. From all other locations I stayed I think this one was the best for my needs. Nice side street without traffic noise, quiet neighbourhood with several parks around. All kitchen utensils and large fridge fulfilled all my needs, maybe oil, salt and pepper were missed. Taking shower was also without complaint. The only thing that bothered me was the cockroaches. The owner promised to handle this case, hopefully it will be resolved asap

Great experience. Small and cute place to stay, great location, walkable from all the sightseeing objects (~20-35 min.). Little bit cold because of old building, but there's a heater to warm up the space.
