Small but very well organized place

Small, well-equipped studio apartment similar in size to a compact hotel room. Good location for tourism but the narrow road it's on is far from pristine. Very secure. I did not meet the owner/host but she was very helpful. Ok for a 3-4 day stay where you are out most of the time but something bigger and lighter might be better for a longer stay. Orpheu (Tapas & Cocktails) is a stone's throw away and well worth a visit.

The apartment is a tiny one on the back of a narrow building with the only natural light coming from a small light well making it a bit dim. Bathroom is a little cool and seems to be very humid. This was during a hot, dry spell in late April. It took me a while to realise a device on the floor wasn't a heater, it was a dehumidifier. I realised on my final day of four that the hand towel near the sink wasn't drying out at all due to humidity despite me having the window open during the day. The apartment is on the first floor with a lift and a narrow staircase. This means any guests who are walking up the stairs will pass the apartment. I found there was a fair bit of noise from guests elsewhere in the building and stairs. Ultimately this wasn't a problem for my stay but it means your satisfaction is very dependent on the behaviour of other guests. There were some people hanging around doing nothing and there for no obvious reason outside at 6:30am when I left to walk to the metro for the airport. It's a dark little road at that time and it wasn't an entirely comfortable experience to walk past them.

Top location. Very clean, spotless. Very safe. You don’t have to worry about your valuables. Ana the host was very responsive. Thank you Ana! Would highly recommend the place.

Few minutes walk from São Bento Station. Small apartment but has everything you need.

Everything was really clean, easy check in with a key box, perfectly well equipped! Good communication with the host who was really quick to reply to our enquiries. Extraordinarily well located right in the city center. The street was so charming! And a nice little gift was waiting for us when we arrived. Very small studio but decorated with a lot of taste it was incredibly pretty. I LOVED EVERY THING!

We could hear the neighbours due to all the windows being connected by a kind of "well"? Very unique tho. And the bed was small and the mattress hard, it could have been better! I suffered during the night due to shoulders injuries but it would have been perfectly fine for other people!
