The location and house is beautiful

- The day we left, workmen next door in warehouse were burning wast for a few hours. And everything is so clean on the Lofoten. How is this possible. The lovely house was covered in smoke. - We did not see the owners on our stay.

Excellent location and beautiful decoration. The front of Olstind cabin has not only beautiful views of the mountains at the day but also beautiful northern lights at the night.

This is a very homey place with everything you need. The view and location is second to none.

Ultra-cozy Rorbu for long winter nights (compared with photos, two super-comfortable armchairs have been added to the sofa). Additional equipment has been added in response to previous reviews (toaster, etc.). Exceptional view and location for this iconic rorbu, the downside being the parade of photographers on either side of the house, but nothing too distracting. Convenient self-contained arrival (the ferries from Bodø were cancelled for a whole day due to the storm, but we were able to catch the ferry at 1:00 a.m., and thanks to the keybox arrive at 4:45 a.m. in the rorbu, saving us a day). Very efficient heating, especially underfloor (except in the downstairs bedroom). Very comfortable bedding. We didn't see Anita or Mia, but the latter was very responsive in answering various practical questions before our arrival. In short, an idyllic stay!

The downstairs bedroom was rather cold, so we preferred to sleep in the one under the roof. Stove not allowed. Weak soundproofing with the small apartment occupying the rear of the rorbu (from the bedroom we could hear the occupants talking and moving around). But these are minor inconveniences.

Olstind is my dream house,everything is perfect and the view from the window is fantastic!That's unforgettable memories for my family.Thanks for everything.

The location is absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was stunning and comfortable.
