Loch Lomond Riverside Apartment

Large airy lounge and kitchen diner. Shower was excellent. Location just outside of Drymen by a bridge and small river. Beds were very comfy. Amenities good. Great restaurants in town

Apartment 1. Both bedroom lights flickering continuously and dangerous. Not enough utensils / kitchen items I read the comments from two years ago - to say they keep getting stolen not good enough. Sofa is dirty and old and should be replaced, internet ok first night but when the noisey, and inconsiderate other guests came to say upstairs nights 2 & 3, it was hopeless. Not good enough. Hot water bizarre not always available. This place although not horrendous has numerous issues. Im giving a low ‘3’ purely because it has possibilities but sort your electrics out and whilst you are at it get a dishwasher - come on it’s the 21st century!

Lovely apartment ideally located for walking Ben Lomond

Spacious with a modern bathroom , nice view from kitchen window . The area around was nice

The area around the property was used to dump the stuff from the renovation of other apartments, my morning view at the sofa or on the outside table was of old doors , mattresses , sinks and other stuff that was not safe to walk next to with kids . I had to take the dogs past in the mornings and later at night for there walks , there was no gate on the outside that is half walled so I had to find spare doors to close the area off . The place is dog friendly in the sense that dogs are allowed but not pet safe or kid safe, I was only able to put up 4 pictures but I have a lot more. I had to leave a night early because the sofa was so uncomfortable, my back was so sore , when I looked on my first night I saw it was held up with wooden blocks in the centre, the legs were buckled ready to fall at at pressure . I had to close the blinds as the view of the storage container wasn’t peaceful or tranquil.The owner said it was the farmers stuff but I saw some workers who were taking decking from the above apartment dump the stuff over at the dumping area. There was a huge bag of sand and metal rusted girders right next to the path that goes to the outside bench . The place is in the middle of a refurb and shouldn’t have been rented out .

Very clean and comfortable. No oven gloves or vacuum but everything else was on hand

Very spacious and a nice little dining area

It was perfect for our needs.
