GBThis cottage was extremely comfortable and well presented. The garden and patio area are lovely and particular good as it was closed in so our dog could roam without fear of him running off. Hot tub was a welcoming pleasure after long days walking on Hadrian's Wall.
We enjoy cooking our own food and always like good sharp knives in the kitchen. Perhaps a knife sharpener as these do get blunt after long use. Also couldn't find a cheese grater - maybe I didn't look hard enough.
GBGBLoved the location, immaculate inside and everything you need with lots of storage. Loved there was a bottle of milk and welcome basket on arrival. The beds were comfy and spotless and lots of cleaning products to use during our stay. Seeing the Northern lights from the beautiful garden was an extra special treat.
The grass in the garden was overgrown and there’s lots of wasps. Looks like there is a nest in the wall around the hot tub. Very disappointed with the size of the hot tub. We were a party of 4 adults and the hot tub was a squeeze with only two people in at a time. These negatives wouldn’t stop us from returning, it’s a fantastic cottage and owners were very responsive with any problems.
GBAmazing apartment which has literally everything you can think of! Decor is wonderful, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Hot tub was a wonderful addition and it felt so private in the safe garden. Great location. Already looking to return later in the year!

GBThe cottage was beautifully decorated, comfy and spotless. I was lucky to have the double bedroom to myself and if i had this bedroom at home i would be a happy girl. Toiletries provided and loved the welcome hamper which contained tea, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits, jam, bread buns etc. The cottage was situated in a lovely spot and had a fantastic private outdoor space ideal for dogs to run around. We had a great stay and the owners have thought of everything needed.
Hot tub took till 10pm to heat so we only had one hour the first day to use. This was sorted by day two so all was good. Only fits two people so could be bigger when four people staying. No hot water the day we left so we couldnt have a shower. First night we had a fire alarm from next doors brewery going from 11pm till 7am so we did not sleep. This is not the cottage owners fault and we spoke to the brewery and this did not thankfully happen the second night.
GBGBGBFunctional and comfortable, like a home from Home. The biggest selling point for me (as a dog owner) is the totally secure outdoor space that comes with this property
The only negative for me is that there isn’t a bath tub but that’s just a personal preference

In this day and age “luxury” apartments should really have feather pillows. They are so easy to wash. Foam pillows are horrid. There was a hot tub for downstairs property directly below our bedrooms. Guests were using hot tub to 2 am - they ignored our request to respect the 11 am curfew. I think putting the hot tub in that location is a mistake.

Only 1 thing let us down, the oven hadn’t been cleaned and the grill was full of fat. We are vegans and it was a bit off putting however we did clean it and got on with our stay.
