Alfama Shabby Chic Flat

The location in Alfama is excellent.

Floors were dirty when we arrived, I had to sweep them with broken broom. Out of our 2 night stay, we only had a working toilet for 9 hrs. I was told it's Portugal when asked when it would be fixed.at 7pm on our last night. The wifi doesn't work well at all. One bed is rock hard. This unit needs the flooring by bathroom and shower fixed and walls washed. We requested a full one night refund. We got half a night. That's all, not sure how that can be justified after not having a toilet to use. Contacted Booking.com they said there wasn't anything they could do as I agreed to a half night refund? Super disappointed in this property.

The property was at good location and in friendly neighborhood. We felt at home because everything we need as a household tools is the property. However, it was a bit nosing due to the others tenants returning home late in the night and pacing back and forth in the stairs. But we really enjoy the fleet and I will surely use them again.

Just a bit nosing due to other tenants coming back home late night and slammed the door a bit hard.

Very thoughtful and kind. Had all that we need for our stay purpose. There was 2 fans that were very helpful to get us through the warm room.

Overall too warm but normal for the ground floor and for the warm weather, that's why I say the fans were helpful.
