Although there was no face-to-face contact, the hosts were helpful and responded swiftly to emails, and it was easy to deal with them.

Bad smell of rotten flesh, seems like there's a dead seagull or rat in the walls. Ventilation helped a bit but smell gets back as soon as you close windows. Owner claims the streets are the source of the smell and generally Belem area is smelly, but this is not true - neighborhood is ok, air is fresh outside the apartment. Another disadvantage is boiler - it didn't work. Owner asked to follow instruction but the boiler didn't work anyways. There's a sensor for water pressure and it was on 0 value, and there's no control valve so we couldn't increase the pressure, so boiler throws an error and doesn't heat water neither for apartment heating system nor for shower. Due to this we had to move to another hotel, I asked the owner to return money for unused days but they still keep silence, no money were returned yet. I don't recommend to stay there until owner fix the boiler and remove the source of smell.

Close to sights in Belem. Bus transportation to Lisbon was easy from the property.

So close to the national palace and pasteis belém, easy walk to the waterfront, and easy bus or train to Lisbon. Two bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry were nice. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The apartment felt very safe even though it it on the street level. The host was very clear and responsive with communication and set up the apartment with coffee and chocolates for us.

The floor could have been a little cleaner, there was not much headroom in the shower, and sometimes it had a funny odor.

I liked how comprehensive the instruction was before, during and after the stay. The room looked the same as it is in the photos. They got all the things i needed, it seems you are living in your home away from home. All equipment are working properly as well, they even have Dolce Gusto item. Walking distance from tourist spots, bus stops, main street, restaurants, and mini grocery stores. Maybe near other essential areas too that i haven't explored yet. They respond quickly to questions too which is a really good thing because it's not a hotel that they have a reception.

Just a bit comment on the shower because it has to be hand-held. Nonetheless everything is amazing.

Good location. Good size for 2 people. Washing machine. Very comfortable.

Damp smell and wet musty kitchen and bedroom wall. Very noisy resident upstairs until past midnight both nights.
