FLH Alfama Bright Apartment

The apartment was fairly roomy and well-situated in the Alfama quarter. There were a lot of amenities but not everything was very logical. What to do with a coffee machine when you have no Nespresso pads? What do you do with a washing machine if there are no lines on which to hang your clothes? The noise from the street was very subdued thanks to good sound isolation.

The arrival was not easy. Our driver (part of BeDriven) was very stressed and first wouldn't go to the apartment because it was unreachable due to roadwork. Finally, he dropped us some 500 meters from our destiny (it was nine in the evening) and we had to climb the streets with our luggage. There was a big wardrobe in the central room, but it was taped closed, and there was little opportunity to hang your things. It was not easy to climb the small stairs to the second floor with the luggage.

Location, clean facilities, comfy bed, good shower

No coat hangers, no clothes storage, harsh lighting, difficult to stand at the kitchen sink given the cupboard design!

We loved the Alfama neighborhood and the apartment was so clean and bright.

Somewhat noisy neighborhood in the evening. A toaster and a kettle would have been helpful.

Everything! Genuinely one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in. So spacious and bright. Beautiful flooring. Spotlessly clean. Very tastefully designed. Thr location was fantastic with everything literally on your doorstop. The cafe across the road served authentic food for great value. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The stairs were very steep so maybe not great for those with mobility issues but a great workout for us😄Outdoor space would have been an added bonus

In the most beautiful and traditional quarter of Lisbon, Alfama, this place is amazing, very clean, enlighten and placed near typical restaurants of the city, nice and not too loud. The apartment is near the metro and the train station.

The owner hadn't shown at our arrival so and he didn't tell us how to get to the apartment, so we had to manage it all alone but it was quite simple, it took just 2 metro lines, the red one, and then the Blu one until Santa Apolonìa.

Location was good. Size is good for couples. Comfortable and clean.

No sugar, no coffee lacks basic things.. they won't allow check in until 3 even not 30 min before..

1.The apartment is listed as a 2-bed one, it turned out it has one twin bed only, the sofa is too small and is not (un)foldable. 2. The kitchen wall units are most uncomfortable.

Great and safe location, very clean, short walk to train station, lovely atmosphere. Overall Great stay

They need to be more clear about where the keys containing the lock box is. When I arrived, there was no lockbox on the door like I was told and when I called they had no idea where to tell me to look for it. It took almost an hour on the phone with reception for us to locate the lockbox as it was in a discrete location that the receptionist was not aware of.

The facility was clean

Not an easy location to find. When we finally located it the only indication was the number 1 on the door and the key working in the lock. It is a long way from reception where you pick up the keys to the apartment. The apartment kitchen could be a little better stocked. The bathroom could use some attention regarding cleanliness and upkeep.
