The Eaves in Lynton, Exmoor, Devon

The location was perfect very close to everything we wanted to do, had a wonderful view very comfortable - a nice place to relax after a long walk - a really lovely apartment would definitely recommend a stay.

Lovely apartment with lofty views over the Lyn gorge, Owls hooting at night and the constant sound of the river. Thoughtfully furnished living area with furniture made with reclaimed materials, well equipped kitchen. Super comfy king size bed and a double bed in the 2nd room. Really enjoyed our stay and may well come back for a longer visit.

The super compact bathroom was quite tricky for 2 very tall people, the shower was nice but very hard to turn on and off.

It is very comfortable with imaginative use of space and on suite facilities. There are 3 televisions. It was warm without us needing to switch on any radiators. Michelle and Lee were on hand to deal with any issues.

The access steps are steep; the eating space was a breakfast bar with stools not chairs.

The apartment was very comfortable and very clean. The useful information folder was extremely helpful and informative. The host came and introduced herself to make sure everything was ok and said just to ask if we needed anything which we thought was a lovely touch. Beds were very comfortable, slept well! The showers were also excellent. It had everything you could possibly need for a break away.

Beautiful location with lots of surrounding walks. Apartment was up a lot of steps but worth it for the lovely views out across the river Lyn.

It was a gorgeous apartment, and it outdid my expectations! Stunning views, lovely bedrooms and a shared kitchen living room which was good for us with him doing a puzzle and me reading my book! The hosts was fantastic, welcoming us and the scones in the fridge was the cherry on top :) Thank you for having us, definitely would recommend!
