The Eaves in Lynton, Exmoor, Devon

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making the apartment a wonderful, comfortable relaxing place to stay. There was a welcome surprise of a delicious cream tea on arrival. Highly recommended.

There was nothing to dislike.

We were self catering and there was a restaurant over the road! The location is at the top of a steep, long, flight of steps outdoors. However, the owners met us and carried some of our luggage up and down for us. It's perhaps wise to travel light!

The weather, and no one can control that! The steps to negotiate in and out kept us fit, but the view once up there was delightful. It's not a location for anyone who finds stairs difficult.

A lovely place to stay, clean with everything you need - including hairdryer, towels, tea, coffee, milk etc. The cream tea and dog treats were a nice touch! Beautiful views from the front room and bedroom.

Lots of steps to reach the property. No shop nearby.

The Eaves is spotless. It’s set at the top of the house, up steps to the side of the house, with its own separate entrance. It’s absolutely lovely inside, with the most lovely furniture. The views are spectacular.

Nothing- it was just perfect.

Location was stunning facing the woodlands and with the sound of river Lyn / Lovely self contained flat, beautiful terrace, very well furnished, easy to walk to Lynton or Lynmouth. Bonus: they even had a bottle of wine for guests. Michelle and Lee are stunning hosts. Great holiday we had.

Only with the old tiles of the building, the wind can make a noise against them especially annoying when you are sleeping in the smaller of the 2 rooms , but Lee and Michelle aware and will be changing them.

It is amazing place to stay. The apartment was spacious and clean. There were a lot of personal touches from the owners which made it very special including the scones, jam and clotted cream. The location was lovely and quiet. A highly recommended place to stay.
