Apartments Madrid Plaza Mayor-Cava baja

Very convenient for us to see all we wanted to see. They even let us drop our bags before check-in which was awesome.

Good and clean place to stay in the center of Madrid.

loved the location, and the calle de cava baja is full of sweet little restaurants to frequent !! The upstairs was grand with the balcony n all !

I didn't know or realise that there was a spiral staircase that made it very difficult to get the bags up ! The downstairs was really small with no storage no place to even open the bags other than the entryway! Everytime we opened our arm wr hit something!

The place was overall quite comfortable, including the sofa bed downstairs. The owner was kind enough to let us drop off our bags before the check-in time. The place was clean, and the location was excellent. However, be prepared for some noise on the weekends, as many people drink and party outside, which can be heard quite clearly at night.

The stairs were spiral, and there was a space between the wall and the sofa bed underneath. Be very careful when using this space, as it’s easy to knock your head on the corner of the stairs (which happened to me, and it was really painful!).
