Apartments Madrid Plaza Mayor-Cava baja

Super easy to access, perfect location

I didn't realized about the long stairs inside the room to access the bedroom and bathroom, it was a little complicated for me with a young girl. Would like to understand better next time to avoid a room with that kind of stairs

Appartment was very clean, in a great central location, had all facilities as described and there were no issues.

The location was perfect and the place was great for 2 people to stay. There is a separate bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room. There is also a washer.

The only con was the water heater tank was very small so the water only stayed warm usually for 1 shower.

Apartment is in city center, 3 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor, there are many caffes and restaurants nerbay, very clean and well equiped.

Excellent location and very confortable

Location is close to the main attractions. Walkable distance to Plaza Del Sol and Plaza Mayor. Good for tapas bars hopping. The apartment was clean. The building has an elevator which is a plus if you have luggage.

Most of the time it was very difficult to sleep. The apartment is located on a very noise street. There was noise coming from cars, people talking loud until late at night (2:00 AM-ish) and garbage collection trucks coming several times during the night. You could also hear noise from the adjacent units. We had a "one bedroom" unit, which was in fact a loft. To get to the bedroom and bathroom you had to climb a narrow, metal, spiral stair. This was not clearly advertised in the room description. There were no kitchen towels available. So we had to use paper towels. Talk about needless waist. The apartment felt quite cramped. Which might be OK for one night or two but we stayed four nights and it was bothersome.

The apartment is reasonably spacious, on 2 levels connected with a spiral stair case. The double glazed windows also have shutters so that noise from the busy Calle de la Cava Baja inner city street is kept to an acceptable level, especially at night. Tapas bars a plenty downstairs. The lift works well and the building is secure. It is in a great location - 20 min walk to Prado, Royal Palace, etc.

The spiral staircase is tight and awkward with luggage. There was only 1 wine glass, despite requesting another.

Great location!very spacious apartment for 4 people and a child, they responded to us immediately for every wish we had, very clean apartment with everything that someone need!

Awesome terrace that overlooks the streets of Madrid. Very close to many restaurants, and a grocery store around the corner. Has all the appliances you need.

The sofa bed is a bit awkwardly located in the kitchen, and the spiral staircase is a bit too creaky for comfort. Hot water runs out fast for larger groups trying to take showers!
