Alfama District by be@home

Very nice area, within walking distance of museums, the central district, and the metro. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and close to the main station. The neighborhood feels safe and friendly, everyone is relaxed and polite, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

The corner of the street is noisy both day and night, with loud tourists outside. Since there’s no air conditioning, you have to keep the windows open, making it hard to sleep. There are several fans, but they’re not a replacement for fresh air. The bed is a small French double (160 cm) with only one hot blanket, uncomfortable if you’re traveling with a friend rather than a partner. The sofa bed for the third person is not suitable for sleeping. The most frustrating part came before arrival: I received around 48 messages and emails from different staff members and automated systems, plus additional WhatsApp messages. It felt excessive and confusing, with poor formatting that made it easy to miss important details like payment reminders. It was easily ten times more spam than from any other booking.com host.

Location was great...a genuine taste of Alfama district.

Bed was not at all comfortable......sitting space was poor. 72 stairs were less than desirable even though it was stated on the description. Great area, old downtown convenient to all sights.

Property is perfect, clean!!! Stuff is good! Odličan je smeštaj, prostran, čist, ima sve što je potrebno. Na četvrtom je spratu, ali kome smetaju stepenice i uzbrdice, Lisabon nije destinacija za njega.

La ubicación perfecta. Apartamento cómodo en general. Bastante bien para familias de 4. Parking privado al lado, era una buena opción. Colchon muy cómodo.

No tenía aire acondicionado, pasamos mucha calor ya que era agosto. Me faltó un tendero para colgar la ropa, había uno super pequeñito. El baño algo deteriorado y desprendía algo de olor, pero pasable.
