Waou Sol III - Alquiler de Corta Duración

The place was very nice and very clean. It's in a great location near the metro. I didn't mind the 4 floor climb to the unit but my friends did.

**Guests beware!** You need wifi to access the unit and it is not provided at the entrance. We missed this when we booked and they refused to meet us there to let us in, leaving us to figure out how to get in. It was quite the song and dance. The downstairs bedroom air conditioning didn't work. Unfortunately, the neighbours air conditioning did work, and this giant unit is against the downstairs bedrooms window. Ear plugs were needed. The upstairs shower doesn't drain properly so you stand in ankle deep water. The tv remote works sometimes and then doesn't. There is no paper towel in the kitchen. There is no laundry detergent provided. The mechanical lock on the front door is coming off the door, which made us feel unsafe in case of emergency. We contacted the agency many times to fix these issues but nothing was done. It's clear that they're a large property management company and don't care about the guests, I'm afraid. They switched to communicating with us in Spanish so we had to translate everything when they were apparently annoyed that we asked for things to be repaired. 0 for customer service.

Location, layout of the apartment and cleanliness. Access was super easy, kitchen has everything you need and air conditioning works perfectly

Apartment was on the 4th floor and does not have elevator. Not a big deal unless you are travelling with someone that cant walk too much

Hosts very flexible about check-in time, reapinded very fast to questions and querries.

Only one roll of paper in the bathroom, half-full and no spares.

Location is good, in the central area, close to good restaurants, metro station - you can walk to most of the places of interest. Communications with host was quite easy, although it is made only through Booking messaging which is not the easiest way to communicate.

If the owners would care more about the customers, this could be a very good place to stay, unfortunately it is not the case. Short summary of the problems we encountered: - all the spaces are very small, it is not a good place for 4 adults - in the room upstairs: - The sink faucet moves - The towel rack has fallen - Clogged shower drain - bathroom is flooded after every shower - Incorrect floor lighting - There was no socket by the bed - The height of the low beams not OK for normal height person - in the kitchen: - no salt, sugar & pepper - probably the host expects that every tourist to buy 1 Kg of sugar/salt for every 3-4 days stay - no coffee - although there is a coffee machine, there is no there are no coffee capsules, not even one as a model to know what to buy (we are not using the same type of coffee machine at home) - in the second bathroom - hand soap finished in the second day. It seems quite low for me to leave the hand soap bottle almost empty before new tourists will enter the room. Please note that you need Internet on you mobile in order to open doors, if you have data roaming problems (happened to me a few times) you will not be able to enter - and you find this information only in the evening before arriving to the apartment. Apartment can be OK for a family with 2 adults and 2 children (not very small as you need to climb 4 floors) if the owners will make some small investment in the comfort of they customers.

Staff quickly helped us with door issue.(Lots of steps up, so heavy luggage as issue for some🙂)
