The Percy's Luxury

Location was perfect - right next to John Lewis and Westgate shopping centre. The rooms were comfortable and clean with good amenities. Beds were lovely and soft and the heated floor in the bathroom was really nice as we were there in cold weather. Check in and out was very simple and owners were quick to respond when we asked them a question.

Nothing major really - wouldn't describe it as luxury but it was nice and has everything we needed. More comfy chairs would be nice to sit together in the evening - the giant coffee table took up a lot of room 😁

Good beds and bathrooms. Good security

TV’s had no aerial or reception. Huge coffee table filled the lounge floor area. Only one long sofa meaning 3 people had to sit in a line and the other at the dining table. Not conducive to relaxation or conversation. Aircon in large family room leaked all night. Coffee machine would not switch on. No parking apart from exorbitant Westgate shopping centre

The location was great and it was well equippped. The building looked fairly new, as did the apartment. The price was very reasonable for Oxford.

We had a little difficulty getting into the building and again into the apartment. It was a system I had never used before. The bedroom carpets were soiled (visitors were asked not to walk in the bedrooms with shoes on and while we certainly complied it was obvious that not everyone does). The wallpaper in one of the bedrooms was peeling; there were crumbs on the living room coffee table; we were unable to open the balcony doors. The living room curtains were hanging off the hooks in places. There was no TV in the living room but there was one in each bedroom; they were very difficult to use and no instructions had been left, in fact, there was no instruction booklet for any of the large appliances (other properties always leave a list of instructions. I suspect that whoever cleans the apartment after each guest should be more closely monitored.

Had to ask for more towels had one medium sized to share between 3 people but they brought straight away. No teatowels dining table and chairs area was a bit dated and looked like it needed a good clean. Only had one hairdryer looked for other but could only find more bedding

the location is excellent and the flat is very large. the host was very friendly.

there was a miscommunication on arrival, but thats ok. there were no towel, so the host went to buy some from the shop, but they were not cleaned. dishwasher had dirty dishes in it, some soap dispensers had water in it, TV in one of of the bedrooms was in turkish, no channels available. and spiders everywhere. It seems like i'm nitpicking, but at £300+ a night i should be able to .

Nothing. A complete misrepresentation to say this is luxury.

Arrived with linen in the hallway awaiting collection, hair and dust on the bedside table, old linen dumped in the wardrobe, dirty tops, pretty shabby furniture, smeared glass, the shower tray overflows in two minutes as the drain is clearly blocked and there were no towels for the shower.
