Unique and quirky central apartment with parking

This accomadation is close to the city centre, there was a lovely pub called head of the river close by that did very good food. Beds were comfortable and plenty warm water for showers.

We could not get the gas hob to work so we were unable to make a cooked breakfast.We did contact the host to advise us how we get the hop working, but they did not answer and I know they read the message because of the two blue ticks. Disapointing .

The location for central Oxford was fabulous. Couldn't be better. We were two couples in Oxford to chat and sight see and it was great for us. Tescos 3 mins walk away - very handy. The apartment once inside was beautifully clean and nicely presented. Kitchen and Bathroom well appointed. Great shower. It was warm and cosy and we didn't need any heating on.

The mattress in the second bedroom nearest the bathroom. It was terrible with all its springs sticking out. It needs urgently replacing - it is losing you the higher ratings which this apartment deserves. The description in the Booking .com app says two bathrooms which is isn't. It is one bathroom and one additional toilet. which was fine for us but I had carefully selected it for it's two bathrooms. The description on the Booking.com website also describes it as having two bathrooms. We would have loved something to make coffee in - just a simple cafetierre - we had to use a saucepan and sieve.

Quick walk into Oxford, parking spot made us choose this accommodation which was very clean and comfortable and suited us as a group of 4. Evie the owner was very receptive to any questions and was very accomadating when we arrived an hour early and asked if we could park in the space early.

We struggled to find the parking space initially even with the great instructions but once we were in it was a lovely apartment. Our bed was fine but our friends in the second bed said they could feel the springs.

Location is fantastic for central Oxford. The apartment and bedrooms were very comfy. This is a great base for a family stay as it has a small kitchen and a table to eat at as well as a living area.

Was a little difficult to find the key lock box, a neighbour had to show us and seemed used to guiding guests for the property. Later check out than 10:00 would be a little more considerate - perhaps 11:00. Cleaner was at the door just before 10:00 and returned with someone else as we were leaving at 10:00.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und günstig, sodass man schnell überall hinkommt. Auch die Größe und Aufteilung der Räume ist für 4 Personen praktisch. Auch die Küche ist neu und vollumfänglich ausgestattet.

Wir sehen hier allerdings noch einiges an Verbesserungspotenzial: In der gesamten Wohnung ist ein deutlicher, penetrant muffiger Geruch wahrnehmbar – besonders auf dem Sofa und in den Betten. Die Matratzen sind leider in allen Zimmern durchgelegen, und im hinteren Schlafzimmer ist das Bett so stark abgenutzt, dass man direkt auf den Federn liegt. Auch die Fenster könnten überarbeitet werden: Sie sind weder dicht noch schallisoliert, was gerade wegen des starken Verkehrsaufkommens draußen sehr störend ist. Insgesamt macht die Wohnung einen renovierungsbedürftigen Eindruck, besonders in Bezug auf die Frische der Räume und den Allgemeinzustand (Türen, Lampen, Heizkörper, Armaturen...) Daher von uns nicht zu empfehlen.
