Lighting dull, loud traffic noise Mattress very lumpy apartment could do with a freshen up, paintwork a bit tired looking and windows need cleaning outside

it wasn't value for money brand new pots and pans no gas brand new kitchen gas hob no gas no welcome pack three bags of herbal tea no coffee a couple of saches of sugar three small milk. Plug in the bedroom not accessible to a mirror, person sleeping on the far side of the bed facing the wall had less than a foot to move in to negotiate his way to bed? Too much furniture in the bedrooms 3 door and draw knobs broken the please look very tired no hand rail in the shower no bath mat no shower gel I don't think five star. The notice you have on the kitchen worktop should be put in the bin trade description act? Fire safety search Windows sashes were broken only opened four inches no chance of escape there was no fire extinguisher or fire blanket in the kitchen and when you came to enter the premises for the back entrance it looked like a very badly run back of a restaurant squalled unkept not inviting at all .The main bedroom mattress okay,the second bedroom the mattress was about two inches thick and one could feel all the springs as you moved about in the bed cheapest of the cheap would we stay there again no we would go to a hotel next time if we were visiting Oxford , or come to that matter we wouldn't stay in another air b&b ever again and definitely wouldn't recommend the wharf house even to our worst enemy £1100 , for a four night stay in that dump, dump not what was advertised that's for sure, even the television channels were working properly wrong remote for the television no sky or Freeview what can we say ,except get your house in order and stop ripping off the good people of the UK.

Location was excellent and the place was really comfortable. Really appreciated having 1.5 bathrooms, it was really good to have that with three people staying. Also, it was extremely clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. We had a really pleasant stay, especially I was there for my graduation. It made my trip smooth and easy.

The arrival was very difficult - the check in instructions are extremely complicated and while ultimately we found the key in the lockbox, it was really tough to find out how to get there. Clearly we were not the only ones who had an issue because other houses had signs that said we are not 'The Wharf House' which means other people have also mistaken the doors. The numbers are not clearly written out on the doorways.

It was disappointing because of several reasons Firstly the mattress on one of the beds was not fit to sleep on. Secondly it was supposed to have 2 bathrooms, it did not. Other reviews have outlined other deficiencies which I mainly agree with. If you read the reviews the negatives are still there and have not been addressed even though the host said they were addressing them!

The beds were far from comfortablel. Really old. Sitting on them sank to bottom to feel slats. Clearly they need to be replaced. Also, there was a strong moldy smell to the apartment.

Very clean, great location very close to city centre, well equipped

We couldn't get the cooker to work, apparently no had, but that was probably is Only real complaint was the beds. Both were really uncomfortable, soggy springs and saggy mattress!
