Apartments Zavala

Zavala Apartments are wonderful. The owners, the rooms, the breakfast, the hotel, and the location. The views from the terrace and the peace.

Very humble and sympathetic hosts. Theo and Anna are taking very much care of you as a guest. They are welcoming cyclists. The guest house is located in the middle of a picturesque landscape of the Herzegovina mountains and on the Ciro trail where you find a lot of nature and quietness. One of the best experiences on my cycle trip through the Balkans. Highly recommended!

All places and the boss of the hotel are all perfect , excellent breakfast, excellent diner ..... If you go here you must drink a zavala bourbon, the best drink around the world!!!

Even we arrived late, Theo waited for us with traditional home made drinks products and with an amazing conversation on the old train station transformed into a hotel jewelery! The level of details at this accomodation can be found only at 5 stars hotel, the beds, sheets, towels, amnesties, the breakfast!! For us it was such an amazing experience and we will recommand it to all our friends! Thank you Theo and Ana <3. P.s. the view is amazing and while sundecking they played Jonny Cash - felt like a western!

Our time there was too short :(, having only one night booked, part of a larger vacation tour. One week there would not be enough to enjoy everything to the full!

Everything is simply amazing here. Ana and Teo are the best hosts I have ever met. The apartment is beautiful such as the scenery from it. The only thing that is even more amazing than the breakfast is the dinner I could have chosen from the menu. It was definitely not my last time there!

You will be treated here not just as a guest but as a friend!!! Staying here was the best decision of my trip in Bosnia! The couple owning the apartment is lovely, kind and very professional host! I cannot recommended them more!

Everything was perfect. I cycled here from Mostar to be greeted with a cool drink and a friendly handshake. The owner is a wonderfully generous man, and treats you like a member of the family. The scenery is spectacular, and you have some super cool sights within a few minutes walk like the caves and the monastery. The apartments are very very comfortable and excellent value for money. The food, prepared by Ana, is freshly made and very delicious, and also really good value for money. I am looking forward to my next visit already!

There were no downsides

I never written this before but the welcoming was very nice indeed! The location and the building is top, especially when travelling by bicycle.

In the middle of nowhere but at a scenic long distance bicycle trail and only a few minutes by car or an hour by bicycle from the beach. An incredible location - we have not seen similar. A lovely breakfast with homemade contributions and nearly no plastic wrappings. A very friendly managing couple who really want to revive the village. A far reaching view to the other side of the valley which invites to meditate and stay.

We should have stayed longer :-)
