Higher Greenway Annexe

Lovely quiet apartment surrounded by wildlife and beautiful views. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. Just a lovely place to stay.

Nothing really. But be aware that the apartment is up quite steep steps so one has to be nimble.

The view was exceptional. The annexe was very comfortable. Lots of walks nearby.

The Annexe was simply beautiful set in a peaceful village with views over the river, it was simply captivating Personally my favourite part was the little Terrace above the roof overlooking the river it was so peaceful.

Finding it.. satnav was very unclear and actually took us to a partially run down property on the right hand side, if you get to this house continue on a little bit and take the second left where you’ll see a sign on the wall.

Views spectacular. Location brilliant. Bed comfortable.

The location is outstanding. The views across a valley down to a steam railway line, an arched railway bridge and then further down to the River Dart is just stunning. The sounds of the train is not intrusive and you get to a point where you are looking out for the train. The area around was great for walking. There is some private land but as long as you stay out of that there are plenty of other walks. The walk to the river is around 20 minutes, all down hill, a little longer to come back up. A short walk to Greenway House, Agatha Christies former home. Also the ferry to Dartmouth. Definitely go again.

The location of the apartment is superb and the views can’t fail to inspire. The bed is comfortable, and the fact that it is dog friendly makes it the perfect getaway for me and my four legged friend.

I couldn’t get the heating to work one evening - probably user error! The access is a little tricky for those with limited mobility.
