Good location and views. Potential for a nicely presented property.

The whole place needs a refurbishment. It is grubby and messy. The bathroom is mouldy and has old fittings. The cooking area has dirty electrics, stove and surrounds. The table is wrecked and stuffed under the eaves. The bedroom has an unnecessary large wardrobe blocking the way round the bed and the old broken mirror on the dressing table blocks the view. There are no chairs or places to put your clothes at night. |The mattress is very old and covered with lumpy layers to hide it. The double bed is very narrow. There is room for a bigger bed. The curtains cannot be pulled back properly and are too thin. They have no blackout lining. The terraces have rusty and broken furnishings and outside lamps that do not work.

Location is beautiful and views are stunning. My son loved the wildlife and birds he could see from the apartment. Lovely peaceful place to stay, Charlie greeted us and was very welcoming and friendly.

This was no problem for us, but you do need to be aware there is just one bathroom and it's the ensuite for the double bedroom, so anyone sleeping in the box room has to enter the double room in order to use the bathroom. The central heating is quite creaky so might disturb a light sleeper!

Location is wonderful, host friendly and helpful, accomodation very comfortable for a weekend away, plenty warm enough.

Layout could do with some tweaks. Difficult to sit at the table without moving it whenever someone wants to get in or out, spilling hot drinks every time.

the location is only a couple of miles from Paignton and the surrounding area but with the wonderful views of the river dart you feel really remote the countryside is stunning

Lovely scenery

Only suitable for a couple sharing main bedroom. Bathroom and toilet for this property is in the en-suite in the main bedroom. Therefore property not suitable for anyone not using this bedroom. Very small beds in second bedroom. Lots of flies.

We were self catering. There was an ample, clean modern kitchen area, comfy sitting area with lovely views, and two bedrooms (a small twin, with great views, and a nice double with the (only) bathroom off it. The barn conversion was warm and welcoming on arrival (mid October), key easy to find, and directions from host very helpful. If you like off the beaten track with gorgeous views, ideal for a couple. There is also a nice terrace. One word of warning, the entrance steps are pretty steep and shallow so the infirm or very young might struggle.

Hosts might consider warning about the steps up - or maybe they do and I didn't take any notice! And the window in the double bedroom didn't open, but again, that didn't really affect us.

The apartment was beautifully situated very close to the National Trust land at Greenway and overlooking the Dart Estuary with lovely sunny terraces to sit and enjoy the fabulous view. The large open plan sitting room with comfy leather sofas and kitchen worked well. The bed was comfortable and the shower good.

We liked the privacy and that we could do a barbeque and the location itself it's amazing. Steam train and the view from terrace just amazing ☺️ we suppose to stay 2 nights but we ended up with 1 extra night and there was no problem with the owners :) Great location, 15min walk to Agatha Christie holiday home. It was my birthday trip, I am so happy we visited Devon. We came all the the way from Kent, I do not regret the drive ❤️ Thank you hosts ❤️

My husband said if there would be hot tub would be perfect ☺️😄😂
