Higher Greenway Annexe

It was lovely and quiet and the steam train travelling through the bottom of the hill was surreal. The view over the river was excellent.

The steps to the accommodation were a bit steep but we managed

Very good location over looking the River Dart. Very quiet within walking distance of Agatha Christie's Greenway House and the ferry to Dittisham. Good local pub in village

Bit of confusion where to put the rubbish on departure. No green bags under the sink for items to be recycled and couldn't find where empty bottles were to be put

Well-equipped apartment in a wonderful scenic location.

No problems with our stay.

The Higher Greenway Annexe is situated in a stunning location with beautiful views over the river Dart, very quiet and tranquil. There is a private terrance which makes the best of the views and a bit of a sun trap. There are lots of great walks direct from the property so did not need to use are car much.

Lane in is a bit narrow, but adds to the charm of the place.

Beautiful setting, private and peaceful

The location of the apartment looking down on the River Dart and Steam train track was amazing. It could be viewed from the windows inside or a lovely secluded terrace area. Sunny weather meant we were able to enjoy this seating area too.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t really like. The host had contacted us prior to the visit to explain that the second bedroom was really only for small children. However, our girls aged 16 and 10 managed with the small beds. The narrow roads leading to the property could pose a problem or nuisance to some drivers, but that’s all part of the secluded location and typical of that area in Devon.

It was the beautiful views, heard the owls, and birdies singing watched the steam train and the views were to die for.. it was perfect.

Lovely

Lovely tranquil location, the only sounds were birdsong or the occasion steam train in the distance. Facilities were good, barn conversion was equipped to a high standard. Charlie and Elena were approachable and friendly. Would stay there again.
